It’s saturday again! So fast…Yesterday was the advertising class and again more than half of the class was absent. It’s been a few weeks things went on like this. If not absent, people will come late. The lecturer was so pissed off till she cancelled the lecture and brief. For her, all of us are in the same boat - a team, so if half of us are not there, means we all smart already and not need her lecture nor the brief. She wanted us to support each other. But hey, it’s not an easy thing. We support them, encourage them to come, but in the end of the day, the decision is still on their hand.

Till then she asked us what’s exactly going on with the class, why so many people absent, did the class so stressful, did she fierce and so on. A few people answered her with their assumption. Answers varied from, maybe some of them haven’t finish their work so they were afraid to confront her, the class is on friday which is the last day of schooling and people were tired with the work from tuesday,wednesday and thursday class, so many things to do in advertising class such as reports, facilitation, project, and people lazy have to wait for a few hours for the progression with her. Well, we didn’t know exactly what’s going on with the rest too. She asked us, we can just assumed it.

After ‘her speech’, she gave us the brief for 2nd project, Rebranding. Finally! Talking about rebranding, she told us to start rebrand ouself from now onwards. She wanted us to be a better person compare to the past 10 weeks. Then, she asked about our first impression towards her. Fierce, Oouw, Aiks, Oh no!, Oh My God!, Die lo, etc came out from our mind. Only one person described her as CUTE. It’s a very rare thing. She told us that since the first time she taught in this college, students had started to brand her as a fierce person until now. Well, when the first time I saw her, she looked fierce plus my friend had input bad things about her in my mind. But as time went by, she wasn’t that fierce anymore. There’s a nice, childish, cute side instead of her ‘tiger’ look. It’s right that we shouldn’t judge the book by its cover. Then, she gave an example, like me, the first she saw me she called me as Chicken Little or Little chicken, I forget is which one. Is that because am small in size? Hmm..

Classes ended at 1.15 pm and we have to attend a paper talk from HIAP MOH PAPER CO. (M) SDN.BHD at 2 pm - 4pm. But it started late on 2.30 pm and lasted for one and half hour only. The good thing is everyone got an envelope with paper’s samples inside from the company itself. The talk itself was damn so boring. I was so sleepy already and it made me more sleepy. I have no choice but to sleep during the 30 minutes video time about the process of paper making. It was a low resolution video from ‘hundred years ago’ and the making is not in Malaysia but Europe there if I not wrong. That made me not interested in it and prefer to sleep though i sat in the front seat. While others take a note from what they saw, because after this there will be a quiz. For the first correct answer will get a gift/souvenir from them. I was so lazy to write things down. It ended at 4.10 pm and we have to wait till 6pm for the bus. Argh! I should have leave before 4pm.

A ‘just ok’ day

Today we were supposed to have a pre-presentation for the advertising class 1st project - Budi bahasa campaign. But then it turn up none of the group was able to finish it up to that level so it was cancelled and changed into a discussion or we can call it a critique session. My group itself has finished almost all the things but the outcome isn’t that good. Well, to be honest am really dissapointed with my group leader’s work and him himself. Why?First, he said he was very open minded and he always asks about our ideas and opinion. Until here, nothing seems to be wrong isn’t it? Yes, he did ask us but he never put in our ideas & opinion inside. No matter what we said, his is the best. Then he asked us for? What open minded does he refer to? Actually he is just ‘kia su’. Sigh.. Typical KL ppl. Uppss…

Second, I thought his computer skills must be very great since he had been working for few years. Plus the experience, he should be able to guide us (his group members) to the right way and act more mature isn’t it? But, he is far away from the so called mature thing. Besides that, his computer skills is just so so if I looked at his work. The other thing, it took him roughly a day and a night to finish a few ads and billboards which is damn simple and easy to do. With that length of time, he can’t even produce a good work! Sigh… The outcome is really not what I expected to see from him. What to do? He insisted to do those himself as if he didn’t trust our computer skills. Grr~!

Since the beginning, I have choose a wrong person to be in a group. Sigh.. Well, I’ve walked until here, so I should continue it till the finish lane. I should have worked better in the 2nd project - rebranding. Go go~!

I should relax for this few days or a day, watching tw/kr drama from youtube, have a nice sleep, and I need a companion from him~! But he himself is busy and worry about his sis thing. I need somebody to speak to! I need a walk, a shopping day! I need my girl-friends! Miss you girls a lot!

Brontox’s attack!

In the end, my laptop was attacked by BRONTOK (Brontox) virus / worm- wateva it was called. It can easily spreads thru network or file sharing and will duplicate itself into folders, named the same with the folders that we have. But actually those folders is the application. So Beware! The creator is an Indonesian, from ITB Bandung if I not wrong. Duh..This is the message that I got which was saved as Firefox page. (my current browser)

I have no idea where and how I got this thing from. My friend suspect that it came from Indon website since the creator is from Indonesia. No offence. Well, there are quite many hackers in Indo. I guess I should be more careful from now on in opening Indo site. Alert! Alert!

This thing almost made me cried. Ok, not almost, I cried for hours actually. All my assignments and pictures are inside! Not to forget the mp3. I’ve zipped those files and save them to my friend’s comp but when I copy and paste back to my laptop, that Brontox came back again. Duh… At the first, I’m not interested to know what Brontox is. I thought it would be ok if I format my laptop and copy back my files. But it failed. So, this morning only I tried to search in google and found out that it spreads thru network and files sharing. If only I knew it earlier. My time won’t be wasted on formatted laptop.

But heck, now it’s ok already. Well.. It’s sort of. I don’t know if it was hidden somewhere inside. I hope not. Anyway, I clean it using AVG anti virus free edition. It was recommended by my friend who was attacked by Brontox before. Hehe.. It’s quite good, although it took several attempts to clear all. Yeah, just keep on DELETE and DELETE the Brontox application whenever it turned up.

Hm.. Argh.. Ugh.. Yeay!

Well in the end I’m here again.. Been busy around this few days. Just finished one presentation today but am not glad with the result that I get, should have reshoot and reprint those. Mid semester break is coming and everyone’s going back their hometown. How nice.. Being at home with family and fellow friends with the foods and the place you usually go and hang out. Wish I can go back too.Miss MEDAN foods so much. Sate padang, Koto Gadang - Ouh.. the rendang thing and the sambal, Pizza Hut (I know Malaysia also have it but the pizza all those things are different you know =P) - fave place to go for a lunch with friends, Fountain’s ice cream - 2nd fave place to go for a tea time with friends and have a chit chat there, Huan tan mie - whichever wherever will do la since the Huan tan mie here is quite different, Kue kue, Mie pecel which always pass by in front of my grandma’s house every afternoon, and the list goes longer and longer. Not to forget, the top of the list would be my mum’s cooking. Yeah.. I miss it so much. Miss her too and my family and my both cutie little cousin. Miss Pasar Rame where everything is there and so near with grandma’s house. Miss to take a beca with mum or friends - I gotta walk at here,no choice. Argh.. And I can’t go back on the semester break since I will have my intership during that time. Sigh..

So here I am stuck in this country within the mid semester break with nowhere to go and play, no budget for that also and no time. While his birthday is coming very near and I have prepared nothing! Oh no.. How could I be like that? Well, guess I shall give myself as the present for this year..
