I’m so blessed~!
Wuhu… Am so glad, nervous, worried, can’t wait for the day to come. Yeah, I got my internship at Ogilvy&Mather Ad !! Feel like I’m so blessed. After the interview with Grey Worldwide a couple weeks ago and get rejected, I never thought that college will place me to any great agency anymore. Hehe.. Well, this is a great chance for me to learn something there and create my own opportunity.And again I was placed together with Yin yin. Last time both of us had the interview at Grey too and both get rejected! Haha.. I know, my so called portfolio (all my works at college) is damn kanasai! When my lecturer asked me to prepare my portfolio, I was like “what to prepare, which one to choose”. I looked back at all my works and I felt all those are nothing, meaningless. None of them I can be proud of. Well, last time maybe I felt proud about them, but now, when I’ve reached another level, I judge my works in different perspective too. Sigh.. It made me not confidence during the interview. I just show few pieces of my works that I myself thought “at least there is something there although its just a little”. Then my interviewer asked what both of us knew about advertising bla bla bla. I told him about the brand value and consumer insight because at that time I ngam ngam just learnt about those things at 95%. Hehe.. Later on he pointed out that, it seems that we didn’t apply those things into our works. My answer was, actually my college didn’t teach that much, not even those knowledge, I just learnt it recently at 95%. How sad that statement sounds. Almost 2 and half year and what I do I really learn from the college? College just full of RULES!!
From now on, just remember there’s NO RULES!!! Do whatever you want and be responsible!! Am talking to myself right now.
