When Boredom come…

I was checking my emails just now when I thought back of the first time I created my email. I get to know internet when I was in my 1st year of junior high school, which is about 1998. I started with keromail, and then doramail, dawsonmail and eudoramail with a cute and weird nickname. Maybe there are some more, but I just remember these. Now I realize that all the sites and my nicknames are so cute (?) I didn’t even sign up to yahoo or hotmail! -__- Hey, cos at that time, as a 12 years old teen you like those cute names mah(the cuter the better!) and you were exploring which sites have the nicer layout and service.I remember I used to go to cyber cafe with my best friend to online. I saw her received alot of emails and (stupid) I was wondering why mine was empty and when I would get one. Yeah, stupid me was so desperate at that time. Then I realize how was I going to get any email if I didn’t have any contact? Most of my friends didn’t have email at that time. If yes, we always meet at school, so what’s the point of sending email to each other? While she got the emails from her auntie and cousins whom lived at other country. Later on I knew that there was this thing called fwd email. I didn’t check my emails for quite a long time and some of the sites is no more available. Until senior high school time, internet get heat up and I sign up to a more normal sites and apply for internet line at home (finally). Til now I stay to yahoo, hotmail, lycos, and gmail. Recently Lycos just updated itself to 3GB and hotmail 25 MB. Wuhu! No more 4 or 5 MB size. Thanks God!Besides that, I realize that I also have quite a lot of networking accounts. Count them - Friendster, Hi5, Zorpia, Ringo, Multiply, Bebo, Bingbox, WAYN, etc. I can’t recall the names anymore. Friendster is the one that I visit everyday. While others might say that friendster is just a waste, I find it’s quite useful because I can keep in touch with my friends from secondary mates until college mates, keep up to date with their recent news (some write blog) and pictures. Sometimes, I even find my long lost friends from my friends’ list. I’m not the type that add so many people just to make my account full. Sometimes when I bore then only I will check others profile and go to her friends’ list and so on. Hehe.. Multiply is the place where I save my pictures and write journal there, but I haven’t update for quite a long time already. NostalGILA masa lalu

Last night I have a nice chat on msn with my two secondary friends. Well, one of them I just met her several times but we can click so fast. The chemistry just came as if I’ve known her for a long time.It’s a long nice funny chat. We’ve been talking about relationship, friends, future, until we come to one of our friend’s ex gf. She always act out and want everyone know that she’s rich, belagu kaya gitu loh. While our friend still love her so much. So, I said his eye has already blocked by shit (bak ciu ho sai ko - in hokkien) and she reply me that it’s worse, his eyes has been blocked by her leng. I can’t help myself not to laugh out loud.

From there, we talk until the fruit seller in front of our secondary school. And it’s still about leng. According to her, one of the teacher went to buy papaya there and he said, buk kua leng, with a low intonation on the word leng which mean papaya boobs instead of cold papaya. lol. Gotta be careful with the intonation.

Chatting with them make me feel like wanna go back home. Last few days my mum said she wanted me to go back on Hari Raya, eventhough for a week only. My auntie will come from Jakarta with her husband and my 3 lil cousin whom I never met before, er, only the eldest one I saw before. It’s been a long time she didn’t back to Medan. Damn, I miss home especially when there is a family gathering. You don’t know how exciting I am when mum said she want me to go back, how I want him to follow me back and get to know my family, my hometown and so on and so on. But a thought that my family is having financial problem now, should I go back? Airasia also not that cheap. And am still having problem on my tuition fee. Sigh.. I don’t wanna ma fan my parent so much.

Cewe idaman (?)

Apa sih cewe idaman? Apakah cewe idaman itu ada? Sungguh aneh mendengar seseorang dari masa laluku mengatakan kata itu padaku. Ah.. Aku tak berharap dia masih memikirkan yang lalu-lalu. Semoga dia bisa melangkah ke depan dan meneruskan hidup seperti aku yang berusaha menggapai masa depanku bersama seseorang.I’ve just cut my hair today~! after 8 months - what a long time.. Say goodbye to my long hair… Hiks hiks..

The shortest class I ever had

It’s the first day of advertising class and the shortest class I ever had. It started late at 9.30am (supposed 9am), with only the tutor came, while the lecturer was on MC. She passed us the brief and module outline, talk blablabla, and we could go back home already and did some researches. What? Time is about 9.45am only. My seat not even hot yet, and you already told us to go back and do research? Wow! I thought it’s going to be a long day class. -__-”So, our project is about Road Safety campaign (again? I thought they did it already last sem?). No more rebranding kah? Sigh.. And the tutor don’t know whether it’s a group work or individual work. Got to wait and ask our lecturer first.

I feel like cut my hair short or medium length. Hehehe…

I won 2 tickets!

Yuhu! I won 2 ticket from cinemaonline, my first time having the tickets send to my house. (I hardly ever won something) Normally they will just announce it on the site. They called me on last Monday and asked my full address. I have no idea what I have won til today when I came back home from college and check my mailbox. With 30cent stamp, they send it from Bukit Raja (I don’t know where it is) on Monday and today I got it ald.

So, I’ve won this “Avellaneda’s Moon” contest. (I thought it’s Tiger Dragon Gate. Haiya..) But, I still have no idea about this movie. Cos sometimes I just simply join the contests without remembering the movies. Upss..

Here is the complimentary pass. It’s open pass. GSC Mid valley, 1Utama, Gurney Plaza, why all so far one? Sigh..

I went to check the website and found out that it is an International movie - Spanish somemore! -___-” Sigh..

Avellaneda’s Moon” is definitely not for everyone. With a running time of two and a half hours, this movie is recommended for fans of the international movie scene. Mainstream audiences however, be warned. Yes, it is a good movie, with drama and a dash of humour, but it may not be to your liking. Do note that the movie is entirely in Spanish, so if you’re not fluent in the language, do remember to bring your glasses to read the subtitles!

One more thing, tomorrow talk from a french designer has been cancelled last minute cos @#$% college has rejected to pay any talk unless lecturers propose it earlier in the beginning of this year, new rules. Unless it’s a FREE talk! Damn! I guess someone has complaint about last sem’s talks. (Pat said yes) Sigh.. Like this means no talk for my final sem. Patricia has planned wanna ask Mr.honest grouch to give a talk on professionalism, but now it’s not gonna happen liao la. Grr!!! And this remind me that someone still owe me $ from last sem workshop. He better watch out! Sometimes too kind to people is like this, Dikasi hati minta jantung! Not only him got financial prob, me too hor!

1st day class

Argh!!! I hate it when I miss class. 2 classes need group work, about 8 people somemore. Damn!! I don’t wanna repeat the same mistake like last sem choosing wrong person to be in a group and end up suffering. But almost everyone got group already. Sigh.. I’m not that unlucky eh?

Am I expect too much?

The first time I skip my first day class sleeping at home. Couldn’t sleep last night until 5am this morning, causing my eyes pain. Sigh.. It’s 10.30am when my handphone rang and it’s Felix! who call me. I thought it was just a call to ask where I am. But no, Professional Studies class require us to form a group of 8people and he is going to put me and my boy in his group with Tunku! and others, else we will have to form our own group. What? No!!!!! I don’t want, don’t punish me like this God! Enough of grouping with both of them. I said no, end the call faster, and call my other friend but full already. Nvm, there is always a way.That call really wake me up, physically and mentally. It’s sad you know when the only person who called and inform me about this thing is Felix. Where is my other friends? Past time, I would said ok to him, but now, things have changed. Sorry dude, you know what you’ve done. Thanks for informing me and concerning about me and my boy having no group, but I don’t wanna do work for you all already. Enough of being stupid, kind and helping you.

Back to where-is-my-other-friends question. It’s sad you know when none of your friends that you always mix with remember your existence. After 2 months break, they forget you? Maybe this is what I call ‘friends because of situation’ [because we are classmates!]. They find you and be very nice when they need help, after that, fuck off la! Is it that hard to be ‘friends in life’? Is everyone so selfish? I’m so dissapointed right now, I felt hurt [Fine, I'm too sensitive]. I see and treat them as my friends [I mean it, FRIENDS, not 'friends' who just say 'hi, bye'], but who and what am I in their eyes? A small little girl that willing to help anyone and can kena bully by you all? Being too kind can hurt you back sometimes. Sigh.. I shouldn’t put too high expectation on people. Damn! Boy, you are right, people are selfish. And I’m hurt again… Fine, I’m too sensitive.
