Supposingly I can relax and do my assignment at home today. But I got to wake up early and went to college for a briefing. Guess what it is about, briefing about interview with LAN (Lembaga Akreditasi Negara). Yes, people from LAN gonna come and interview us, the so called selected students, about LUCT, the lifestyle, the program, whether it is accreditated or not, bla bla bla.There are year 1 students, year 3 students (here I am now with the sem 5 students), and alumni, for GD. One group is about 10 students whom according to them is not a general sample but specific sample that are reliable. They (college’s staffs) said it is once in 5 years, that it is extremely important for the Diploma program that we are taking now. We can graduate and continue next sem or not is depend on this. Huh? Mengancam yah ceritanya? -___-”

He (the Indian staff who did the talking all the time) said there is no script but there is a few conditions. “For year 1 students, you have to say as if you have wanted to get in this college for your whole life. For year 3 students, you have to say as if this college is your life. For alumni, you have to say sth like this college has did a big impact in your life.” His words is sth like that. Somemore he asked us to go back and do some research on LUCT, about the philosophy (phai se la we all don’t know about it), about the KLC (Wings Coffee at KL), about our program, bla bla bla.

What?

You want me to say as if this college is my life? You want me to say how ‘good’ this college is while you all already know how broken it is inside? And now you want us, the students to polish it for you? I did lie before (ehem ehem), but in this case, I can’t do it. So sorry la.

Tomorrow and wednesday is the rehearsal, they will guide us how to talk with the ministry people in a more professional way. Thursday and friday is the DAY, all of us have to stand by and be alert at college. Not to forget to wear black, the branding of LUCT, and no slipper like what I wear today. Eh please la, I also know on the day have to wear formal, I just got no other nicer slipper already. So many people wear slipper to college also. Give me money then I buy la. Chew. Somemore today I purposely come for your stupid briefing and have to wait bus back home at 3pm, wait 3 fucking hours at college. Worthy or not? Grrr… I don’t wanna waste my time to say sth untruth, sth I can’t tolerate and I don’t know how to say the good side of LUCT. So I told Pat that I can’t do it. Thanks for the understanding.
