Eartquake in Bengkulu
I just came back home from the office yesterday around 6pm sth, ate bread and walked towards the front door when I saw the lamps light suddenly off. In a blink of eyes, everything turn to dark (which lasted until midnight don’t know what time). As usual, I kept on cursing the PLN for causing electricity failure without knowing the source behind it.
After dinner only I got an sms from my friend informing me that there was an earthquake at Bengkulu with 7.9 SR. Whoah! I texted him back to make sure the info, and yes, he got it from Metro TV. Before the electricity failure, my neighbour was so panic and informed us that there was an eartquake. But my family and I didn’t feel anything. So we thought that’s just her halusination.
After that only we know that the electricity failure happened because of the eartquake. West Sumatra also affected. Hopefully not another tsunami is coming.
