When someone tell me to Get-Married-la
When I complain about my work, how hard it is to earn the money, and so on, most of my listeners will say,”Aiyo, just get married la. You will be happy, no need suffer with the current work and makan hati.” So, if after married and I get in problems, what suggestion will they make? “Get divorce la”, is it? -__-”As if this life is like Cinderella story where Cinderella was so suffer and had to do lots of housework while staying with the Stepmother and soon the prince of her life came to save her and they lived happily ever after, ended with their wedding. Dream comes true.
Gosh, do some people really think marriage is the ending and the solution to all the problems? We never know how Cinderella’s life after the marriage, is it better or worse than her life before. It’s a fairytale, therefore it ends happily. While we are living a real life where problems can comes anytime anywhere.Even the simplest wedding also need money. Besides that, we not only combine two people in a marriage, but two families! After that, there will be kids. Money’s issue will still be around us. Many more.
Get real, please. Marriage is not the end or solution to everything, but the beginning of something. There is still life after marriage.
