Last night is the annual night of Kancil Awards 2007. The result is out already in kancilawards dot com with the agency of the year – Saatchi & Saatchi.

In the student category itself, there is only one gold and still no ‘Best of the Best’. Meanwhile, Limkokwing (or should I say ’95% the Advertising Academy’) and The One Academy swept all the awards and leave nothing for other college and university.

I’m so proud that the two friends (Fajar & Wilson) from Indonesia won the Gold, Silver and Bronze. Whew!! We really have a great talenta from the country. Just need to dig it out and work on it. 95% really did a good job. If it continues like this, soon it will be possible for Indonesia to make noise and surprise in Cannes Awards. Ah well, let’s not go too far, conquer the Asia advertising world first.

Anyway, I think it is a bright year for Fajar. After won a Bronze in Crowbar 2007 (Singapore), now he got 3 Kancil awards, from Gold to Silver to Bronze! Congrats to him! Fly high but don?t forget to keep the feet on the ground.
