Gathering at Pisa Cafe
This two months we have so many occasions in the office from 3 birthdays to 2 resignations on different months. We decided to have a collaboration and make a big celebration in one go. The invitation was not only for the current staffs but also the ex-staffs. And no, there is no office or Boss sponsorship involved in this occasion. It’s purely from the 5 of us to the colleagues and ex-colleagues.
It was a hard time in picking the right place, before we eliminated the choices to two; Nelayan at Deli Plaza and Pisa Cafe at Capital Building. Two very different choices, one is dimsum and Chinese cuisines while the other one is Western or should I say Italian cuisines. Considering the place and the promo, we landed the choice on Pisa Cafe, 2nd floor of Capital Building.
The place was great, with indoor and outdoor dining place, bar and snookers. Too bad, I didn’t spot any handsome guy at the snooker area
We sat in a long table for 20 people. What I don’t like from this kind of place is, the menu has such a fancy name. -__-” We ordered different foods and share it among a few of us. I was too slow I didn’t manage to snap any of them. The foods arrived on the table and went in the stomach liao.
It wasn’t a normal gathering lunch as we were having a secret birthday celebration for Phin. The birthday girl couldn’t run away from our itchy hands after the birthday song and the blowing candle session. She ended up having creams around her face and arms. Lol. Once in a while, never mind la hor.
The four birthday-ers from October and November were blowing the candle.
Our beloved Tu-Mak, the mum of the mum, was trying to run away from the cream’s attack.
Lastly, the group’s photo session at the outdoor of Pisa Cafe. Yes, white is the dress code for that day. Spot yours truly among this white rangers.
The kid was too amaze that he kept looking at me. Lol.
You could see the still-in-progress-JW.Marriott at the right side and the old shopping complex (Deli Plaza) at the left side. The old complex will be demolished soon and replaced with 5 blocks thingie. This are gonna GROW BIG, I’m sure. But slowly wait la ya.
Thanks to everyone for the day. I don’t know when will we gather like this again in the future.
