Of cats and dogs
I never have a pet. I dislike dog and cat since I was a kid. I was told that cat’s fur is not good for woman, the pregnancy thing, you know. I was in primary school when I saw a cat and ran away, then we had a marathon run. I was so scared of being bitten, by both dog and cat. Some people says they are adorable. But not for me. Bottom line, I scared of them.
Never had I know that after 20 years, I will stay together with them under one roof. Thanks to the boyfriend who has 7 dogs and 3 cats at his home. -__-” First time I came there, I was so scared. Imagine 7 dogs barking at you and cats walking in the house. Oh my.. This is my 3rd visit and slowly I could accept them walking around me and touch them.
Another thanks to the ex housemate who owns more than 7 cats and kittens. They are not the cats that you see on the road one but the long hair Persian type. I didn’t dare to walk near their cages and the cat bed, not to say touching them. But slowly I could, they weren’t that scary after all. I love the cats and kittens so much but not when I think of their fur and litters. They loss their fur so easily, almost every corner of the house was covered with their fur. Ah those days, those intrigues, bleh.. Let’s not recall the intrigues with the ex housemate.
Then I got to know some people whom loves cats so much. Ummi’s cause to champion has open up my eyes and rethink about cats. Janet’s feeling towards cats has also affected me. Well, one saying says that if we don’t know then we won’t love it. So true huh?
For now, I haven’t get to the stage where I love cats and dogs. But in the middle line, neither do I like them nor dislike them. However, I can accept their existence in my life.
