A friend of mine said that student who is good in memorizing every line of the school notes, tend to be passive. Because he/she memorize excatly the same thing, the mind doesn’t work, not even think outside the box. If you give them tool storage, perhaps they don’t even know how to use the tools inside. I used to be one, even one of my primary teacher said so. But as I grew up, I was too lazy to memorize exactly the same, just took the essence. Now, I guess I have returned some of the learning to the teachers. After all, what more important is to let the brain to think and wander freely.
