A lil reflection on year 2007
Jreng Jreng Jreng! One more day and we are going to leave the year of 2007. Let’s reflect back and see what does 2007 means to each of us. For me, it’s a year of TRANSITION; from status (from a college student to a working adult) to place of living (3 years in KL, I went back to Medan few months after the graduation), not to forget the relationship (from meeting each other every day, every hour, every minute to a Long Distance Relationship) and other minor changes.
The first 4 months of the year, I was jobless and hopeless. I tried my best to find a job there, but I couldn’t even finish my internship at the time. Next thing is, I got hot water splashed on my left leg at a very wrong time and leave the scars forever on the leg.
On May, I went back to Medan and got my first job as a packaging designer after months of graduation. There goes the drama of my working life. During this time, the boyfriend and I kept on flying here and there, to visit each other.
The last 4 months of the year, I resigned from my job after 6 months sinking myself to the stupid packaging thing. Here I am being a freelance designer. On December, the two of us have been flying to each other hometown. From financial side, I didn’t save that much, far from the target. But at least, this time I am using my hard earn money to pay the flight tickets to and from KL.
There goes my life; the career, love, health, and finance. I shall make a New Year Resolution and let’s see the changes from 2007 to 2008.
