Whenever I went back to Medan, I felt so packed, stomach not feeling well, may need colon cleanse. With the narrow roads and so many vehicles, the traffic jam, the horny horn sounds, the pollution, dying palm tree (or unknown tree) planted at the roadside, 3 to 4 storey houses that looks like a soap box according to my secondary teacher, all those make me feel like being trapped in a messy maze. I want to get out from here.

The small town in Sarawak that cost me 2 hours flight from KL; Sibu; gave me a very different feeling from Medan. The town is so green and less vehicles on the road. Huge bungalows, semi bungalows and so on. Less shopping complex, more kopitiam. Oh, how I miss the ‘Kom Piang’. After all, the town is spacious that makes me feel relief and relax.

If only I could combine Medan’s food and Sibu’s environment. What a perfect combination.
