“Where to seek for vacancy in Medan?”, ask a friend of mine whom just came back from KL last year. What I could tell her at that time was to look in the newspaper especially Analisa Daily and to ask from friends or relative.
That’s what I did, checking on Analisa Daily everyday and made sure that I didn’t skip any single column. Saw the criteria that matched and sent my resume blindly. Because most of them didn’t state their company name, only the type of company (i.e. transportation, advertising, etc) with PO.BOX.
Well, now job hunters in Medan will be very blessed because KSI (Karir Sukses Indonesia) go-ksi dot com came in. Ah yes, we have local jobstreet now. Looking for a job is no longer blindly done cos they have the company’s name. They not only stated the qualifications but also the amount of the salary. Interesting huh?
How shock I am to see the maximum salary for a designer in one of the so-called-advertising-agency is lessen than a teacher salary. Well well, am off from this field and won’t need this website until… I don’t know.
