Chem Beng (2008)
I’ve skipped this for the past 4 years since I went to study at Malaysia. It used to be a big family gathering time apart of Chinese New Year. My father’s sister and the family who are Christian would joined us too.
This year it is divided into 3 days. Today is the first day to Bah Gunung, somewhere in between Tebing Tinggi and Pematang Siantar. The journey took about 3 hours plus. Therefore we took off from Medan at 6.15am and reached home at 4pm. Almost one day. Pfiuh. Tired.
Anyway, when my father’s sister saw me, the first thing she asked was this:
Her : When did you come back?
Me : Last 2 days 
Her : So, did you find a job for your xiao gu gu?
Me : -___-” I can’t even find a job for myself. How could I find one for her?
Totally speechless with her question. Alright, so thanks for not asking me about my job hunting thing. But, I mean, I can’t even save myself yet and she asked me to save her younger sister along with me. Duh..
