Different life priority

When my 16 years old brother has started to look for his future university, some of his friends doesn’t seems to put any interest on their future study but Patek Philippe.
They said,”Aiya, go to any university and any course is just the same. You see lo, Ahbeng who studied at a reputable overseas university, after graduated also came back and work in his father’s shop.”
Another one said he wanted to continue with his father printing shop. Because it is easier and more relax.
I don’t know have to praise them for being so realistic & smart or say they are stupid for having no passion in life.
