Cut down your spending

Last few weeks, Indonesia government has just increased the fuel price as much as 30%. Yesterday, it was Malaysia turn, for as much as 40%. Government said they don’t have enough money to subsidize that much. What to do.

As expected, Petalingstreet (Malaysian blog-ping aggregator) is flooded with petrol-price-hiked entries, from cursing the stupid government to the story of their midnight petrol pump just to save that RM50 maybe.

After this, I think there will be more people doing online shopping instead of driving to mall. Cut down whatever we can cut down to continue the living. Maybe opting for a cheaper car insurance, cut down the shopping frequency, don’t drive if the 7-11 is just 5 blocks away but walk, etc.

Keep on whining, complaining and cursing the government if it makes you feel better. But it won’t change the price though.
