Making decision with a chicklit
Mates, Dates and Sole Survivors is one of the chicklit series by Cathy Hopkins. I bought it more than 4 years ago. When I read this chicklit again, I couldn’t help but to smile at myself for the memory. This is my first English reading ever. I mean, in terms of book’s type.
This chicklit once helped me to make a decision in my life. I remembered that I was in doubt, of ending the relationship or continue with LDR. After reading it, I decided to end the relationship. 
I was feed with the thought,”Who needs boys, especially those who always check on you every single minutes? I’m still young, being single is better than being tied up. I shall focus on my study. bla bla bla.”
That’s how a seventeen-years-old girl made a decision. By reading a chicklit, instead of a self-improvement book or even ‘Mars vs. Venus’ kind of book. Even easier than deciding which term life insurance quote to go for.
