Weekend madness: 8 hours black out
It was 8.20am when I blow-dried my hair and suddenly *puff*. BLACK OUT! Alright, calm down, maybe it was 2 hours black out only, like usual. By the time the electric is back, it would be around 10.30am only. That’s what I thought.
I went downstairs to had my breakfast, read newspaper, and played snake’s game in my cellphone. I looked at the clock, it was still early. Time pass so slow. Sigh. I dug my chicklits and decided to read back ‘Mates, Dates and Sole Survivors’ by Cathy Hopkins to kill the time. It’s better than checking on Outer Banks rentals brochure.
Two hours pass. No sign that the electric was back. I still hear the generators sounds. Hah, bless those who have generators. I continued my reading. Four hours pass and still no sign. I head off to Thamrin Plaza with mum and bro for lunch.
When we came back home, it was still as dark as ever. I couldn’t stop cursing PLN for such a long black out. Finally, electric was back after 8 hours. Pfiuh..
