My auntie has arrived in Medan few hours ago. Her 9 years old son, Adrian, has grown up a lot since the last time I saw him, which was more than 4 years ago. The cute thing is, he is the one who asks me,”How come Jie Jie has grown up?” -__-”

I told him that I wanna took his picture and he posed for me with the V sign immediately.
Since he was born and live in Jakarta, his Indonesia language is oh-so-good. He understand Hokkien and can talk in Hokkien, but the intonation is slightly different. We, who use Hokkien in daily life, will call it ‘cau im’.
Until one of the cousin (8 years old) asked him,”You are talking in Chinese. But why I don’t understand one?” He saw my brother and asked,”Ko ko kok kayak gajah?” – why ko ko looks like elephant one? lol, kids are so cute.
And, he loves playing game; be it the games in cell phone, computer, nintendo, etc. Once he arrived and saw me with my computer, he asked,”can I play game? what game do you have? I want Pinball.” I don’t need to tell him anything, he knows that games belongs to games folder there. He tried Diner Dash and Sally’s Spa. Soon, he is attached with both. Luckily we don’t have a good lcd mount on the wall, only an old and dusty television, well, he doesn’t like television much as well.
Good thing is, he is not that naughty like the other cousins. ![]()
