Swimming and getting dark issue
Few weeks ago, when I told my friends that I wanna learn swimming, most of their reaction was:
“What?!? You don’t scare of getting dark?”
-___-”
Of course I do.
I thought it would be alright cause I picked 7.30 to 9am for swimming, and that I could master the frog style in one week time. I wouldn’t be getting so much darken in one week time eh? So I went to swim with a normal swimsuit while most of the woman wear a black-diving-look-alike-suit under the swim suit. You can only see their face, hands and feet.
10 days after that, I am not only not-yet-master-the-frog-style but also getting so much darken! Let’s save the swimming lesson story for another time. What I concern now is my skin color! Gee, I have taken so much time to get my fair skin back and now it’s gone. How powerful the chlorine in swimming pool is, I can see the color’s differences from my hand and my body. *bang head to the wall*
Lesson learn, I shall wear a diving-look-alike-suit too next time. But it will be oh-so-heavy when I get out from the water. Sigh. Swimming is not fun at all. -___-” Now I wonder how Dennis Carey, a CEO and Corporate Director Recruiter, could reach a place in swimming in between his daily job. He was ranked by the World Swimming Federation as one of the top 20 swimmers in the world after completing his swim of the English Channel. That’s an achievement.
