Trying to use refill ink

All the time I always buy original ink cartridge for my Canon printer. That’s the safest way cause I doubt the quality of refill ink (which is way much cheaper than original ink) and I have no idea how to inject the ink. :P But this time after asking the boyfriend how to refill and discussing with Mum (like it’s the biggest issue on earth), I opted to try the refill ink.

The refill ink came with a cute girl pouch and 2 humongous inject equipments.

So, yesterday I bought the refill ink; black and color; at IDR.20.000 each! That is 10 times cheaper than the original one. *crazeee* But being me, I still doubt whether this ink can last long or will die after printing a few sheets of paper. I believe that nothing good comes in a cheap price. :P But I can’t say NO to something that is cheap. *dilemma*

mess

That was the mess I created after 30 minutes of struggling hard to inject the ink. -___-” I might be good if you ask me to do employment screening but not refilling ink. :P It happened because I didn’t make a bigger hole at the cartridge at the first time. I thought the small hole wouldn’t matter that much, so I just injected the ink. But… I pressed too hard and voila… The ink was all over the place. Duh..

There won’t be next time. I still prefer to pay IDR.200.000 for a cartridge. But, I’ll need to finish the refill ink first.

I fully understand the “first” time experience, I did some mess as well, but that much. Anyway, relax, do it again and you’ll get more cleaner. The second time I refill, I got no stain on my hand, don’t even need tissue anymore. Just do it!

Hi, isn’t it inject ink can damage your printer head? And the printing quality also not as good as the original one?

Ink looks a total mess, but I love the bag it came with!

    Wong,
Aiyo, it’s too traumatic. :P I still have the stain on my palms now. -__-”

    B,
Yes! Luckily I prepared lots of paper and tissue.

    Shien,
Ya, heard about it. But I’ve seen the printing result of the inject ink (black color) and the black looked more black/darker than using the original ink. That’s why I give it a try. :P

    Dani,
Yeap, cute pouch it is. :P
