Be aware of breast cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wiehanne Lounge is going pink as a support to Pink for October campaign, which encourage websites to go pink for October to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Alright, my blog design is already pink at the first place so nothing needed to be changed, except that I added the go-pink-for-october banner (offered by by Pat Dryburgh) at my sidebar.

I am an ignorant when it comes to breast cancer issue. But today, I was ‘awaken’ when my Mum delivered this news.

“Do you remember your ie-po (my grandma’s sister) *insert her name*? She was detected for having breast cancer at 4th stage and is hospitalized at Gleneagles hospital now.”

I was shocked,”What? Did she just know it recently or years ago?”

To my surprise, my Mum said that this ie-po of mine, 60 years old something, knows about her sickness (having breast cancer) since years ago!!! She even told my grandma about the black liquid flowing out from her breast. But, she refused to go to any hospital for checking and curing. Not only that, she hide the fact from her sons and daughters.

Why did she do that? All because of her stinginess. She has the money but she’s been living a very stingy life all the while. The only time when she is not stingy was not long ago when she went to US with her husband, paying a visit to her newly born grandchild.

Alright, maybe she has her own reason for doing so (being stingy). But for God sake, this is about breast cancer that can take over her life! Is it really worthy to save lots of money and risk her own health, life, time and happiness with her family? Sigh.

Money can’t buy health. Really. Unlike things like car, when the car parts are broken, we can get it fixed as long as we have the money. But it’s different with health. No matter how much money you have, you just couldn’t ‘fix’ it sometimes.

Pay more attention to your health, people (women and men). Breast cancer can attack anyone.

Well, I for one totally support this campaign, but no, I’m not going pink. Pink is really too girlish for me, I’m more of the semi-goth type though. So by far, red is as far as I’m going, and besides, red is quite close to pink too.. =p

Thank you for going pink in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month! :D

We are running a series of 12 contests on the Pink for October website throughout October and there are many attractive prizes up for grabs too. That includes a “Share Your Story And Win A Prize” contest where you can share a true story, or encourage your friend/family/neighbour/colleague to share theirs, plus a “Design And Win” contest where you can submit the Pink for October buttons/badges/banners that you have designed.

For more information, please visit the official Pink for October website: http://pinkforoctober.org

There is a problem – does the HEALTH authorities really WANT a cancer cure?

Google for Gardasil – it’s the worst anti-cervical cancer vaccine that has killed 400% more girls than other kind of vaccines.

Did you notice that chemotherapy actually kills 499 healthy calls just to kill one cancerous cell? That’s why after chemo, cancer sufferers bald, have little energy to even sip through a straw, feel dizzy, nauseous, diarrhea, etc. Ask Mrs. Razzi (oops, she died in Feb 2009 of chemotherapy)!

Selenium prevents cancer. So does baking powder. And yet, you will see some Cancer campaign recipe books saying none of these. (When your doctor says YOU HAVE NO HOPE EXCEPT CHEMOTHERAPY or DIE, do you believe him?)

Google for Billy Best – a 16 year old who ran away from chemotherapy for 15 years. Lived in a mountain surviving on herbs. Now at 31, diagnosed as “never had cancer” because he is cancer-free! Hospital denied Billy ever had Cancer! Another person who was like Billy, died a long time ago – of chemotherapy.

Beware where your donations go to. Most end up for cruel experiments on animals (testing prescription medicine). And all of these medicines have side-effects, and really do not cured. I’ve been fooled for many years! Do not let lies fool you!

P.S. Money can’t buy health. MJ is testimony to it. Same for Oprah Winfrey!

You’re most welcome Weihane! Do not be taken when doctors say there’s no hope for cancer (except for their drugs and chemo). There are already cancer cures out there hidden from us for more than 30 years (eg. Gerson.org and Hippocratesinst.org curing cancer patients without risky chemotherapy for more than 30 years!)

Dr. Max Gerson was threatened, in the hope his Cancer Cure book would never be published. It’s sold out (via Amazon.com ) Gerson.org is now run by his daughter, Dr. Charlotte Gerson.

Authorities are not able to shut down Gerson Institute because their cures are backed up by science, and patients who were given the “death sentence” by those who support chemo and prescription drugs.

Farrah Fawcett was once cured without chemo in Germany but continued her unhealthy diet and Coke (google for “aspartame” sweet poison). These drinks continued to be sold worldwide because like the UK ex-health minister, they hold shares in these Drink Companies ($$$!)
