Cutting down expense
I went out for breakfast like usual with my parents (the blessing of freelance) this morning. While waiting for the noodle soup to come, we chit chat about the current situation. Dad said that yesterday he passed by a few well-known restaurants in Medan (like Koki Sunda) and saw there was not many cars parking outside (which means less patrons). Normally the place is crowded, even on the weekday. I guess it’s part of the impact of recession. My family is cutting down the amount of going out for dinner too. Sigh.
I guess all of us are affected one way or another by the global financial crisis. We are also finding ways to cut down on our expenses.
