Feature Portfolio

chic-blogspot-themeFeel free to browse through my portfolio, which contains selection of works that I did under simplyWP (for web design) and during the early freelancing period (for print graphic design). Girly chic is my design style, though I'm flexible most of the time.

Note: I’m looking for sponsorship for my upcoming contest. Feel free to contact me if you want to sponsor something.

I noticed the amount of time that I spent online has been increased this month. It is not doing good to my internet bill as I am using time-based connection from Telkom Speedy. The price is IDR.200.000 for 50 hours and after 50 hours, I will be charged IDR.1.500 per hour. There is 10% tax some more. The package for unlimited connection is way too expensive for someone working at home like me.

So, there I went to the website last night and found out that I’ve used 140+ hours for the month of October! That means I online about 7 hours daily. Wth have I been doing? Oh, it must be because I spend too much time looking for Outer Banks rentals vacation info and forget about the time.

Last month internet bill was at IDR.450.000++ (around $45) with usage of almost 200 hours. For sure, I don’t want to break the record.

My solution to that is to create a new schedule; dividing my online time, dropping EC, writing posts, doing research, do design work, etc. I’ve told myself to really commit this time or else I’ll be sweating while seeing the amount on the bill next month. :P

At least here in Manila, DSL rates are for unlimited use already. I pay around $26usd (1,200pesos) for DSL and landline phone connection :)

  2. Wow, your rates are not that bad. Our rates in South Africa are much higher.

    500mb – R100 (+-$10)
    1gb – R200 (+-$20)
    2gb – R400 (+-$40)

I could use up 1gb in about a week.
