Having a maid that stay at home is helpful, especially if you are a super duper busy person with million dollar business to deal with. A maid can help you do the house chores, open your house gate for you when you come back home, etc. But besides helping you, having a maid can turn into a disaster too.
It was on yesterday when my neighbor told my parents that the maid, whom work and stay with their daughter, ran away with the daughter’s jewelries which worth around IDR.15million or $1,500! The maid is from outstation (either Java island or Sulawesi, I forgot) and they hired her from a maid’s agency. They have made a report to the police station and the polices have traced the maid’s location. I didn’t follow the rest of the story.
Once in a while, we will experience a ‘wave’ in our life. It could be big or small.
I can’t believe that the maid can be so daring by stealing and running away. Crazee…
I myself don’t have a maid that stay with us, but a maid that comes every morning to do the house chores (wash & iron clothes, sweep floor) and leaves after she finishes her work. So far there is no stealing case whatsoever and I hope she is clever enough not to do that stupid thing.
That’s terrible. We have a cleaner that comes once a week or so, and we always trust her and she has never done anything to make us do otherwise. I think that you just have to trust people but it’s sad when things like this happen.
we dun trust maid also, especially when both of us are working, we cant really know what happens when we are out of house.

Yeap, I agree that we have to trust someone. But sometimes, the person just take it for granted which leads to this kind of incident. Sigh.

Yeah and that is why the above scenario can happen, cause both of them (husband & wife) seldom stay home, leaving the maid alone.
