Good news, bad news, ranting

inside-kie-kie-saloon

I had my hair cut again this afternoon since Chinese New Year is about 2 weeks away only. I know, my hair was still short and still looked good. Besdies that, the last hair cut was on November. But, people says, new year new clothes, new bag, new shoes, new pants, new underwear, new bra, including new hair. So, there I went for a hair cut which costs me IDR.280.000. :P

Good news

Boyfriend got the job! Yay! Never mind the job is not in Singapore but the black hall. What important is, he is employed which means fixed income and many more to go.

Bad news

Brother had an incident during the sport lesson at school this morning. The bone of his right arm was broken and operation will be done tonight. Still waiting for the doctor to finish another operation. Sigh. This is not a good news, but thanks G he is a left handed and not right handed. See the bright side.

Ranting

Hah! I can’t hold this feeling anymore. It was about to explode. I know, I am an outsider and I shouldn’t go into this matter as boyfriend is the one whom is working with them. But whatever, I am just going to express what I see and feel. My point of view, that’s it.

I truly respect that company and the people there. But I have started to lose that ever since they changed their staffs. Those young people seems to have a problem with their working attitude. What with last minute work all the time? They really think boyfriend is a SUPERMAN whom doesn’t have life, no need drink, eat, sleep, no other work to do, 24 hour stand by for them? Hello, freelance doesn’t mean very FREE one, okay?

Sometimes I really think that they have taken him for granted. Probably thinking,”Ah, nevermind, he works so fast, let’s slowly do and spend more time on the design part, marketing plan, whatsoever.” Else, how come there is always last minute work?

Or they thought web-coding is like photostating is it? Just click a button and the pdf file will turn into a website, pages, etc in a blink of eyes. Heck, they don’t know that it takes time and it is frustrating to have someone, whom has no coding and web related background, to do web-design.

Now, this people needs to learn time management and to start thinking about others (put themselves in other people shoes). Until then, I hope they will stuck in their position forever and ever. Dammit. My anger has reached the max point.

Finish my rant.

Approached by MLM people at McDonald

Boyfriend and I were supposed to have a casual dinner and date at McDonalds, Merdeka Walk, last night. But it was ruined by sudden appearance of some MLM people. Ugh. Apparently, a woman who sat next to our table came and approached us when we has just finished our meal.

When she said that she wanted to introduce a business to us, we knew that it must be about MLM. Oh my.. I am very much allergic to MLM related stuffs but somehow, we gave her a chance to talk about her so-called-business.

Guess what, it was women’s sanitary pad business, called Anion from Malaysia. Hah! I must be lacking of socializing or what cause this is my first time ever hearing about sanitary pad as MLM business.

It was getting more interesting when she did a demo of comparing the Anion pad and L pad (a well-known brand in the market) by pouring water on both pad, etc. Bottom line, she was trying to tell us how good the product is.

Next, she moved on to the marketing side and told us how much money we can earn from this business. Well, the earning sounds so great and promising (typical MLM’s promise). After 30 minutes talk *yawn* , then only she told us about how much do we need to invest. Oh my.. This is the main point that I have wanted to know from the beginning.

The basic package costs IDR.800.000 ($80) and we would get total 19 packages of pads to start the business. The highest package would cost IDR.24million ($2,400). I calculated it and heh, it was pretty expensive for a use-and-throw thing. Probably 4 times the price of L product.

No doubt, the product seems to be very good compare to other well-known brands in the market. I would buy it as a customer. But, if I was asked to join the MLM, nah.. it is not for me. MLM is the last thing that I want to go for and try.

Anyway, we managed to escape from them although I stupidly left my real phone number for them. Aiks..

A package from Market Leverage

A postman delivered a note to me on yesterday afternoon while saying,”You got a package from USA. Go and claim it at the main post office.” He never mentioned what package was that, from who, whatsoever. What the tutt…

So, there I went to the post office this morning. It was my first time going to the main post office in Medan. Not my proudest moment. But hey, can’t blame me. When I grow up, email has already become a buzz, while postage has become an old stuff. :P

package

Anyway, the package was exactly what I expected. A t-shirt and reward card from Market Leverage, won those from an online contest a month ago. Although deep inside my heart I was hoping that it was a late Christmas present (probably Nokia 5800) from some unknown Santa Claus. *dream on*

The t-shirt is in M size. I thought M size should suit me but no. The t-shirt looks too big for me or perhaps I am too small for the t-shirt? But, it looks alright when boyfriend wears it. So, now it belongs to him.

Thank you so much, Market Leverage for taking the effort to send a $35-gift at a postage fee of $25.89. Whew..

Time not enough

Here I am, stealing a bit time doing research about incontinence supplies before the beautifying-myself-session (going to a relative’s wedding dinner in 1 hour time). Boyfriend went to a wedding dinner with my Dad and my bro. Yeah, 2 wedding dinner at the same day. Luckily it’s a 2 different kind of dinner hence my Dad can go to both place and not disappointing anyone.

I’ve seldom updated this blog ever since the boyfriend came. It doesn’t really affect my earning whatsoever so I’m fine with taking some time off from blogging, dropping EC, etc. Instead, I’ve been taking more time of going out during the weekday and spend time with him. Thanks to december being the holiday season, work has getting slow down.

He will be back to Malaysia on this Saturday. That means I gotta prepare boxes of tissue cause I might spend a night of crying over the farewell, not knowing when will we meet up again. Hopefully the plan B works. Sigh.

My New Year Eve

Went for a dinner supper (food came at almost 10pm, we waited for more than 1 hour. Whew.. ) with boyfriend and my family at a seafood restaurant, Cemara Asri area.

The place was oh so crowded, where people gathered at the huge round about there. Babies, kids, adult, elder people, some people even wore something like pajamas (ready to go home sleep after the count down) but sorry, no sexy lingerie whatsoever. Never know Medan has so many citizens. :P Boyfriend said the crowd looked like as if there was a concert going on.

crowd-at-round-about

Fireworks was released from around 8pm and reached the peak on 12o’clock. Managed to get a picture of us with a little firework behind. And, it started to rain around 12.30am after the crowd was dismissed and count down ended. Amazing how God works eh?
