Breakfast time
Almost every morning, I go out to have breakfast with my parents at some Chinese stall / coffee shop / kopitiam. Due to my Dad’s strong chemistry with noodle, we always end up going to this 2 kopitiam for the wantan mee.
Kopitiam is probably the most interesting place on earth cause you can hear the latest news and gossips from the people there. Not that I want to overheard, but they always talk so loud and the way they share the stories is so interesting too. At least, I find it interesting.
Like this 60+ years old auntie, the owner of the kopitiam. She always sits there and chats with some of the customers. She can chat about almost every topic, from the war at Gaza to the recent death case of the North Sumatra parliament’s head, from the latest wireless security systems to how fast the free-seat-promotion-from-Airasia is being booked, and so on. Gee, thumbs up for her as most of the auntie/grandma prefer to chat about those bad guy/bad woman in TV series.
Now, I can picture that my boyfriend will (most probably) chat with the customers too, if we own a coffee shop in the future.
