Happy V-day 2009

I intended to write an emo post for the Valentine’s Day. But thanks to the 4 hours blackout early this morning, I lost the feeling to write such thing now. :P

So.. this is our 5th Valentine’s Day. I’ll do a flash back for the past V-day.

14th Feb 2005 – It was semester break and we went back to our hometown. No whatsoever celebration.

14th Feb 2006 – I had my 2nd visit to boyfriend’s hometown and we went for a dinner at this Chinese restaurant, where the chef is the husband of his high school tuition teacher (if I not mistaken). Ordered huge prawns that cost us alot -> one of the most memorable thing for the 2 of us. :P

14th Feb 2007 – We had our convocation and after that I went for internship in KL. That was when I received my first flower ever. *big wet eyes* Alright, not a real flowers that can die in days time but a handmade flowers in pink, that he made while I was still in the office. I still keep it up until now and no intention to throw it away although it looks quite dusty now. I’m such a memory keeper. :P

14th Feb 2008 – It was the 10th month of our LDR. No celebration, sms, call whatsoever as well. I can’t recall how did I spend my Valentine’s day last year. I can’t find the post too. -__- Probably just a dinner with my family.

14th Feb 2009 – Er, it’s the same as last year. No celebration, sms, call whatsoever.

Well, we are not the type of person whom will celebrate this kind of thing (read: Valentine’s day, birthday, anniversary day, and so on). We hold to the thought that ‘Everyday is Valentine’s Day’ (don’t puke yet :P ) and keep things as simple as possible.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone~!

I hope you have a nice day whatever you do. I got a card from my boyfriend, and we’re going to chat on Skype and then I am going to have some nice fish and chips for dinner as a treat :)

it’s good that wongpk and u share the same idea :) hahah. But at least a sms would be sweet, don’t it? ;)

The concept of everyday is valentine is good, but no celebration, no call, no sms is little hard to take it. :) Immediate example, we can’t make it.

Erm,but.. a happy-v’tine-sms doesn’t feel sweet at all for me. :P Probably because Valentine’s day is getting too commercialized, I found it just the same with any other day? Call me weird. :P

  4. Sorry for being so late but HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.

I hope you enjoyed the day.

  5. Haha..well as long as the 2 of you are okay with not celebrating those days, I guess it’s okay :)

Although it doesn’t hurt to give extra attention on some days. Most boys say “Everyday is a valentine” as an excuse :P Hope you guys are not lol
