My auntie suddenly asked this question during our visit to my late Grandpa’s graveyard,”Blogging is profitable, is it?”. In other words, she is asking if one can make money via blogging. Oh well, so the buzz of make-money-online-with-your-blog has finally reached her. lol.

The next question that she asked was,”How can one make money from blogging?”. I couldn’t find a short answer hence I only said,”There is alot of way…”. Before I continue by mentioning the making-money-list, my Dad cut me and said,”Eh wait, you know that famous lawyer *insert name*, people consults to him also need to pay money okay? So, let’s go to Benteng (a famous and expensive restaurant in town) and have a dinner while talking over it.”

Next, I became more speechless when the daughter (my cousin) asked about domain, what’s the difference between free and paid hosting, how to make a website, and so on. I didn’t know where should I start explaining. I also didn’t know how to put my understanding into words and explained it to her. Otherwise, I could become a teacher or lecturer already today. But I don’t, cause I s*ck at explaining/teaching.

Now, where are we? Oh, back to make money online with blogging. So, my cousin has started to blog. And, my brother was asked this question,”Why don’t you go for blogging too? You can EASILY earn money from it you know?”.

Gosh, if it is really that easy to make money from blogging, then everyone will go for it. *sarcastic mode on* No one will scare of losing their job because of recession, cause they can easily make money from blogging. All they need is just a computer, internet, domain and hosting (or free hosting).

Sigh.

Here comes the time of the year, the Chembeng/Qingming day (read: Grave-Sweeping Day), when the whole family will visit their ancestors or relatives’ graves. It already started on last 2 week and today is the actual Qingming day, when we should do the ritual praying at home.

We head off early morning to my late Grandpa’s grave yard, which is about 1 hour from Medan. The weather is just fine, windy and not hot at all like what we expected. I guess miss sunshine wants to have a relaxing Saturday.

We spend around 1-2 hours there and go back my Grandma’s house for another praying thing. Since today is the actual day of Qingming, the road is so jam packed and so messy. Crazy.

The same thing goes to restaurants/food stalls as people lining up to buy capcai whatsoever Chinese foods for the praying. We get into the long queue too. The Chinese restaurants should have quite a good business today.

After all those Chinese cuisine, now I’m craving for spaghetti and other Italian cuisine like San Diego dining that serves beautiful Mediterranean view. Shall stop dreaming now cause it is located in California. Aiks..

Hey hoh, finally April Fool’s day is over. Pfiuh. I’ve been very aware with whatever that has been posted on yesterday. From blogs to twitters to forums. There has been a few times I almost fell in the trap but soon I realized that the news was too shocking to be true and this mind kept saying,”Ey check the date, it’s April 1st.”

Oh, Page Rank update is here! I don’t see any significant changes on the current blogs, except that the 2 new blogs (one today.com blog and one custom domain name) receives PR1 which is nothing biggie. But hey, that’s the first step. Anyway, it’s the right time to start new blogs/websites, work on them and wait for the good news on the next PR update.

Eh wait I’m not obsessed to PR, it’s just an ego of a blogger. But this blog seems to have no hope to get out from the PR0 hole. Thanks to the stupid step that I made 2 years ago. Bleh.

April is full of hope! I’ve also planning on setting up new blogs and maybe learning post production services, something like ‘groovy like a movie’ that turns basic video into a memorable story. It sounds interesting but I’ll see again later on.
