*This is a scheduled post*
By the time this post is up, I will be at the airport waiting for my flight to KL.
I know, I just went there on last August. But the main attraction for this trip is not KL but boyfriend’s hometown, where our BIG day will be held. So, I’ll spend 1 week in KL and 2 weeks in boyfriend’s hometown. Good thing, both place also has internet connection and wireless Linksys router, I can continue working like usual although I won’t be around my desk. Talk about the flexibility of being a freelancer.

Ever since the wedding plan is ON, we have never stepped into his hometown – blame it on the expensive flight ticket and our working schedule. That means we haven’t settle anything related to the BIG day, except for the restaurant. I haven’t found which bridal to go for make-up and hairstyling, the car decoration, the tea-ceremony preparation, bedroom furniture, etc. I already ditched the “pai ke ceng” thing but still, there seems to be lots to settle.
Besides the big day preparation, we need to settle the paper work (read: marriage certificate and my visa) which is the highlight of this trip. This certificate and visa thing has put me under sleepless nights and full-of-worrying-days. Hopefully thing will go smooth and we don’t need to go back forth boyfriend’s hometown – KL – Medan. *stress mode on*
Another hidden agenda is to attend the BIG day of boyfriend’s friend on tomorrow. So excited, partly because it’s my first time attending someone’s wedding in KL (point: get to see the culture and tradition) and also because.. I’ve known them since few years ago that there is a special feeling to see them going from dating stage to marriage stage.
P.S. Our wedding site is up since ages ago. I finally have the time to update it with contents including the behind-the-scene pictures (of pre-wed photoshoot).
So, yesterday was Sunday and also the first day of Hari Raya Idul Fitri. The town was super quiet. Almost everyone was out of town since most of the shops and companies are closed until Wednesday. Internet connection was so smooth that the page for term life insurance rates loaded faster than usual.
Initially we planned to stay for a night at Brastagi highland but the hotel’s room was oh-so-expensive, starts from IDR 1 million which is double the usual price. *sweat* Stay and chill at home seems to be the best choice.
But, my Bro was super boring at home, so off we went to The Hill Resort – also the place where I had my outdoor prewedding photos – after lunch just for a short getaway. Traffic was so smooth that we arrived the resort within 70 minutes drive or so. It was gloomy and felt somewhat cold.

I was busy taking pictures of the swans when someone shouted my name. I turn my body and saw a very familiar figure. I couldn’t help but to shout back,”Ah-ma!!” which is her nickname since highschool. Both of us was like,”Can’t believe will meet you here!” and walked into the white gazebo to catch up with each other, from I-heard-that-you-are-getting-married to her-stressful-yet-happy-life-as-a-wife-and-young-mum to gain-weight topic. Not long after that, it started to rain.

Ever since she married and moved to Jakarta, we hardly see each other. Furthermore she doesn’t have facebook account but good thing is, she comes back few times in a year. The last time we met was on February this year.

Look at her cheeks and her Dora’s hair. So cute and pretty!!!
It was also my first time seeing her more-than-one-year-old-daughter. I have a mixture feeling, my first time being referred to as ie-ie/auntie by my friend’s daughter. I am old. Arghh!!
Anyway, it looks like law of attraction does work. It was on saturday when I went out with my friends, talked about Sibolga and I mentioned about ‘Ah-ma’ blablabla. Jan also mentioned about doesn’t want to be referred as ie-ie but jie-jie. Then the next day I met her! Coincident or what?
So, the government has decided that tomorrow – Sunday, September 20th – is the Hari Raya a.k.a Idul Fitri. Everyone has been on holiday mood since yesterday. Most of the shops are closed today, from the work gloves shops to electronic shops. The town is super quiet that it feels like Sunday! Almost everyone is out of town. Some went overseas – Penang, KL, Singapore, China, you name it la – while some went outstation – Brastagi Highland, Toba Lake, Sibolga, yadayada.

Friends asked me to join them to Sibolga but I had enough of long hours road trip (read: more than 6 hours). So, here I am, staying in town during the long holiday. My only plan for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is to… work, what else! I need to do that to anticipate my upcoming travel plan. *bersakit-sakit dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian*
Happy holiday people~! exclude me.
I think I have so many things to blog, from Afamosa resort trip on last August to the prewedding photo-shooting day, from diet pills that works to I-can’t-remember-what-else. But I am in the state of I don’t know where to start and I am too lazy to choose and edit the pictures. Bottom line, plain lazy!

How I wish that whatever I have in my mind can be transferred into writing by itself.
Cause I have the habit of thinking about what to blog before I go to lalaland (read: sleep). I even arranged the sentences and words by words after I think of the topic. Then the mind will feel tired, I go to sleep and wake up with don’t-know-where-to-start-writing-but-I-want-to-type; or rather don’t want to know, or no mood already.
The result of that is such a pointless entry, just like this one. Excuse me while I gather back my usual self and energy.
My 10-years-old-computer-table, that has been with me since I had my first PC, has (finally) broken down. Boyfriend was doing his work using my PC and I sat beside him while putting up my leg *oopss* on the table’s shelf like usual. *GUBRAK* Immediately we heard a very loud voice of something was falling down and yes, the 3 wheels of the table’s back side was broken down.

I still can’t believe that this table has broken down. It’s been with me for so many years throughout my growing-up process, from doing school homework to doing freelance work. *emo mode on* It could be the age or maybe the flood for the past few years that has weaken the table’s wood. Whatever it is, time to change a new one. So, we had a table hunting at an indoor and outdoor furniture shop, flipped through the catalog, found what I liked, ordered and sent to my house on that day itself.

The new table is slightly larger than the old one and has a ‘grown-up’ or ‘office’ feeling.
Anyway, time to get back to work cause no one will hijack *joke* my comp now. Boyfriend has flew back to KL this morning which means I’m back to my old-boring-routine.
