Back to premade card

Our initial plan was to create a custom invitation for the BIG day. After dragging the design process for more than a month, changed from two folds to one fold, changed to smaller size, changed from 3 languages to 2 languages, we finally settled with the design. We brought it to the printing company nearby my house and asked for quotation on last Monday.

Turn up the price was more expensive than the premade invitation although it is just a simple card without hard cover, but used CMYK color. Expected. So, after much consideration we changed to premade invitation card instead. Looking into our finance, we cannot fork out so much at the moment, since there will be a lot more stuff to buy, like our upcoming office furniture, our bedroom furniture and most of all, yours truly visa. :) After all, it is just a one-time card.

Anyway, the wording setting was done and we should get the invitations before Hari Raya. Great!

  1. Yeah it is just one time and it will be thrown away anyway :)

I’m always amazed at how much a couple spend for the invitation cards.. something that can be spent elsewhere..
