Good news: I found two of Indonesia dishes (pecel lele and ayam penyet) in one of the culinary spots in Sibu named Bandung. Even the name of the place already portrayed one of the city’s name in Indonesia.

You see, we usually eat Chinese foods at home and when we dine outside. They do have chili in the restaurant/cafe/food stall. But it is either sour one or big-red-chili-potong with soy sauce or Maggi chili sauce. Those can’t give about-the-same spicy feeling from what we have back in Indonesia. After a month, my tongue, taste bud, mouth, and mind already felt itchy and wanted to eat some spicy food. Think about the ‘fire’ in the mouth after eating pecel lele with belacan. Slurrpp!!

When others gathered in town square waiting for firecrackers and making new year resolution (like lose weight with safe diet pills) on New Year Eve, we went to Bandung out of boredom and saw this pecel lele stall. Whoa, so happy as if I saw water on a dessert. So, I ordered pecel lele. The presentation was not bad. Got banana, rice wrapped with banana leaf (or whatever leaf it is), etc.
But bad news: the rice was a plain white rice not coconut rice and was so sticky – cook it a little longer and it will become porridge. The sambal also didn’t have that spicy taste. The lele was so-so.
However, beggar can’t be chooser. I’ll go there again when I crave for hometown food. Or maybe, I should start cooking the real home-food (not just fried rice
). Not a bad idea.
Weather has been very weird lately. It can rain cats and dogs in the morning, then becomes so hot and sunny in afternoon or night time. The weird weather will not only make me easily falls sick but also make pimples growing on this face, and have to do home remedies for acne during weekend.

When it rains heavily in the morning, I will be very lazy to step out of the house for breakfast although we can drive the car to our usual breakfast place which is in walking distance only. It’s just something about rain and cold weather that brings up the lazy mode.
The easiest solution is to have a cup of hot Milo and breads with scramble eggs. Yummy! Then I’ll sit in front of the computer and eat while checking emails and plan out the working schedule for the rest of the day.
Tell me who don’t feel nervous when it comes to their first time? I do. So kancheong and excited, I can feel the butterflies in my stomach the moment I clicked the “order” button.
I’m talking about my very first experience in purchasing clothes online. Yes, I just broke my very own barrier. I used to avoid online shopping especially apparels cause I cannot touch the material and try it on to see if it suits me or not. Unless the thing is fix one (doesn’t have particular size) such as acne face wash or the waterproof camera case that I bought from Lowyat forum last year.
It is the expensive-and-ridiculous-price from boutiques in Sibu that drives me to purchase clothes online. Seriously, some dresses are sold at twice or even triple from the price online (including shipping fee). I’m not gonna let those boutiques ripped me off lo.

So I spent my night time researching for Malaysia online store. I found a few via Facebook ads too. The first stuff that I ordered is this yellow skirt, that can be a dress too, from Cocobobo.
I purchased and made the payment online during night time 11pm (Wednesday) like that. I was expecting 5 to 7 days as what Cocobobo’s website stated cause I thought they must be using Pos Laju or Pos Express service. But, Skynet the delivery service called me to get the goods from their office on Friday noon. Whoaa, so fast!
The skirt was delivered in a very good condition. The yellow gradient doesn’t differ much from the model picture. The material doesn’t disappoint me too. Bottom line, I’m a satisfied customer.
Only one thing if I am allowed to suggest to the merchant: I will be more than happy if the goods is wrapped with a nice/beautiful paper gift or something nice but doesn’t cost much instead of plastic only. Presentation does matter.
Anyway, I had a memorable first time. The feeling of purchasing apparels online is not less exciting than purchasing it from the boutiques in mall. I’m so ready for the second time.
Yes, our business card for the newly registered company – Zhng Design Studio – is here! We had it printed at a shop in M mall after saw the classified ad on newspaper next to thermogenic fat burners ad. Price is RM198 for 1000 pieces (500 with my boy’s name and 500 with my name), round corner and double sided. Finished in around one week time.

I don’t know have to be happy cause now I have my very first business card for my our very own business or feel pathetic cause I never had one until now.
I know la, who asked me to step into freelance world so early and worked with one local company only before that.
Now, problem occurs, who am I gonna give this business card to? Cause I know no one here that I can refer to as my-friends. -___-”
Our marriage registration and certificate is still in work-in-progress and will take another 1 – 2 months. However, we have settled our company registration! Yay! This is not just another-legal-and-official-form but SOMETHING to us and that we are taking this field/business seriously. This is the very first baby step that we take in building and growing our web design business.

Whether it is redesign of age spots removal landing page or company website, bring it on! We are so ready to push ourselves further.
