Eleven hours until my flight to KL and I haven’t pack my stuffs yet.
Hate packing so much cause have to select what to bring and what not to bring while worrying it will exceed weight or not.
So looking forward to this trip cause that means I don’t need to see the KNS maid for a month and the irritating meow-ing sounds from the cats. These two (maid and cats) are just eating up the living space. I so wanna kick them out of the house. Sorry, evil mode on.
And that maid just received a phone call from her youngest daughter whom is in primary school. There she goes haihz-hm-ing and emo-ing again while thinking about going back Indonesia. No pity to her consider her super duper annoying and irresponsible attitude. Ugh.
Push that hatred away and replace it with happy mode. Til then.
I am surfing online for whatever info that I can read and whatever picture that I can see, while organizing my computer files and updating the back-up in my HDD to prepare for our upcoming trip to KL and Medan. I am blog hopping from truck accessories page to bedroom stuffs and then I come across this oh-so-sweet-cute-girlie-pink-quilted-bedding in polkadot from potterybarnkids! Peek it here.

I want I want I want! Mom, buy for me can? I’m so wanna go back to be a kid (girl) again.
I woke up early this morning to rush on my illustration work only to be greeted by an ERROR message from Adobe Illustrator. Half of the file is gone. I mean, some of the illustration in the file is ‘gone’ (including the character design holding promotional bags) while the layout design is still there. One of the layer is ‘gone’ too. But when I had Ctrl + O and click on the file, I can see the complete illustration in the small screenshot. All I have is a broken AI file and I didn’t save in pdf format too.

Can’t understand why. I’ve asked Google for solution, tried but can’t work. There goes my hard work until the wee hour last night. I should just go sleep earlier and do it today. Sigh. Gotta pick myself up from this denial stage to acceptance stage. I better start working on it all over again than wasting more time trying to recover the file.
Before that, let me bang my head to the wall and cry out loud first.
My boy and I might be the weirdest people on this earth. We love being busy, in a good cause of course, not busy as in gossiping about neighbour who uses best weight loss pill or take care of other people’s business. When we have free time in our hand, we will feel oh so weird like something is missing. Guess we need to learn how to enjoy the free time and relax eh?
Anyway, after having enough break and good time during Chinese New Year, we are now loaded with work. Lotsa deadline to meet. Yes, it’s another working weekend. No complain, cause it means we won’t be starving and we actually enjoy our work.
I have to finish my writing tasks today. Then there is blog design work with custom character illustration to go. I’m not sure if I can find time to resize my AD (Actual Day) wedding pic. Time to use Picasa I guess. And tonight I’ll accompany my boy to attend his high school gathering at a restaurant. Whew..
Yay, the real BIG day that we have been waiting for is finally here! It’s been a long tiring troublesome journey to get this piece of paper. It involves changing religion, flying here and there, mailing via DHL, take 6 – 7 hours bus for 3 times, went through so many dead end road only to find the correct road, etc. Thanks to our parents for helping us throughout the process; by fetching us to the consulate office and all. I shall end my Oscar speech here before it gets longer.

Went to JPN (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara) early morning 8am and waited for our turn. We must wear formal apparel, including our witnesses. No Hudson jeans and slipper are allowed. So here I am with my cheongsam which was intended to be wore on Chinese New Year and my boy in long sleeve shirt and suit. All simplified, I just tied up my hair and applied very light makeup.

Here is the door to the wedding room, where we officially tied the knot. Madam T, the Chinese lady officer who is in charge of marriage stuff, is having a Chinese New Year leave I suppose. The person who replaced her was so KNS. WTF cannot take picture in the wedding room cause it might disturb the process and only we and our 2 witnesses can be in the room? We went there few times and we always see bunch of people going in or coming our from the wedding room. Not just 4 people lo.
Then WTF she was so confident saying that we won’t be needed that original single-status-letter when filing the marriage certificate in Indonesia? Never heard of a back-up plan is it? I doubt she knows well about the procedure in Indonesia and simply give us some general assumption. Just like how Madam T told us that it is impossible Indonesia gov doesn’t allow inter religion marriage (Christian and Buddhist). But see what happened, it is really impossible lo. In the end we have to waste more time thanks to the assumption.

With our witnesses, my boy’s friend and girlfriend.

After the short simple oath and signing process, here’s our marriage certificate. If you are wondering about my citizenship, I’m still holding my Indonesia IC with tourist visa. We will take time in getting the long-term-social-visit-pass. Regarding Malaysia citizenship, we’ll see our luck in the future. Or we might be adventurous, find other better country and move there. Who knows.
