Not just the largest in Sibu but also claimed to be the largest in South East Asia! We’ve been so curious with the “largest” statement and decided to go there after sending my in-laws to airport this morning.
Before this, we have attempted to visit the place earlier this month but fail big time, cause not sure of the location and no road sign leading to the temple. Like looking for diet pills that work without any direction. Good thing this time we found it. Woohoo!
So far this is the largest temple that I’ve been too. Aside from worship and tourism purpose, I think this temple also suitable for pre-wedding photoshoot. Wear cheongsam or casual attire will do.
Info: Yu Lung San Tien En Si Temple is located at Km26 Sibu-Bintulu Road.

WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress; for casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. WordCamp Malaysia 2010 is the first WordCamp to be held in Malaysia! It?s happening on the 22nd of May 2010, Cititel Mid Valley. Read More here.
The parcel was sent on yesterday and we received it this afternoon. Fast! Thank you PosLaju and WCMY’s organizer, Simon to be specific. This goodies somewhat cure our heartache for not able to attend the first WordCamp in Malaysia.

There is Kaspersky Anti Virus licenses, T-shirt, and WordPress Schwag (WordPress pencil, stickers, pink pins!, and temporary tattoos all the way from San Fransisco). How sweet! Maybe next time we can have WordPress table lighting, mousepad, etc?
Both T-shirt is M size, definitely too big for me, but never mind. I still love the design, referring to the M word in Petronas twin tower shape. And the quote “Code is poetry” is very true for my boy – the geeky hubby.

We’re so looking forward to attend the next WordCamp Malaysia (or Asia) and maybe would like to involve in sponsorship again.
Hopefully it won’t crash again with whatever plan that we will have later.
P.S. Happy birthday WordPress! Seven years and you’re going stronger.
Thursday May 6, We choose to take it easy and explore Kuta area ourselves on the 2nd day. After breakfast at the hotel, we go for a stroll at Legian street. During the walk, we buy hats at one of the local souvenir shop. Can’t stand to walk under the hot sun without any protection; be it umbrella, sunglass, or hat. Thanks to this, acne starts growing on my face the next day, forget to bring pronexin the acne treatment. Ugh.

Left: We are looking for mobile-phone kiosk to refill my Simpati’s credit but it isn’t open yet. So, my boy thinks of taking picture of this alley and this handsome Balinese kid immediately poses for us.
Right: A small alley where Blue Bird taxis keeps passing by non stop.

Sibu to Kuala Lumpur
Tuesday May 4, we take afternoon flight from Sibu to Kuala Lumpur. Supposed to depart one or three hours earlier but Airasia informed about the delayed one month in advance.

Staying at Tune hotels nearby LCCT for a night. There is shuttle bus from LCCT to Tune hotels and vice versa, only RM1 per person per way. So convenient. But the place is kinda boring, only got cafeteria downstairs. Luckily a friend of my boy drops by for limteh-ing session and chat from hcg diet recipes to politic scene.

The room is small, but like what their advertisement said, 5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price; Comfie bed, power shower and clean. Got air-con but need to pay, well ceiling fan is enough for such a small room. What I love best is the huge mirror in the room and bathroom. (more…)
