Happy Mid Autumn Festival 2010

You can’t separate the mid-autumn festival with lantern and mooncake. I’m not having both this year. Never like mooncake. :P

Anyway, the town is having its second lantern festival at town square. Larger space and more colorful lanterns if compare to last year’s lantern festival. Next to the town square is trade fair and fun fair. Selling clothes, telco service, foods, housing stuffs, supplements like ephedrine diet pills, and many more.

International Freelancers Day

Got the info from my Twitter timeline that 24 – 25 September 2010 is International Freelancers Day. Woohoo! Not just any event with no activity, there is going to be the biggest online conference for Solo Professionals. Free of charge but need to register. Fair enough. I’ve reserved my spot after going through the list of session on the website. *excited*

Love to hear that there is finally a worldwide event that I can attend from the comfort of my home. Probably still can multi-task, doing design work like drawing binocular illustration while listening to the talk. Thanks to internet, it shortens the distance. :D

Precious Time

On a sunny Monday noon, these two love birds who met in the right place & at the right time almost 7 years ago *cough cough* decided that it was the time to buy a better grown-ups watches in pair.

Many thanks to Mr. Lim :D for recommending a rather trust-able watches shop, located nearby Sibu Heritage Center. Otherwise we almost being conned to buy an in-house watches brand from a shop in Wisma Sanyan. -__-”

Spent quite some time in looking for the right one, probably ten times longer than someone looking for best fat burner in supermarket. We agreed on this pair of Crocodile’s, at RM520 for both.

Dear watches, be ready to follow us in the journey of discovering life for many more years to come :)

Woman Needs to Shop

My boy and I were supposed to have a one day outstation trip (work related), but cancelled due to our own careless being. Went to bus station on time this morning but forgot to bring the tickets that we’ve bought yesterday night! Oh my.. The bus left without us by the time we went back with the tickets in hand. Ugh! Scheduling the trip to later date.

Wasted my effort of waking up super early around 6am after working super late a night before. Hey, having enough sleeping time (8 hours) is important to me, am not looking forward to use anti-wrinkle cream sooner than I expected. :P But never mind, there is always something well-planned for us.

Anyway, the past two weeks have been quite a hectic one for me. Deadline and deadline. Oh don’t mistaken it as complain or I hate my work. Loving my career max but even machine also can break down, what’s more this body and mind right? :P

So wanting to do online shopping to release the tension. And sort of reward myself for the hard work? *wink at my boy*

Oh Dear Puppy

I was in my hometown Medan for a post-Chinese-new-year visit when I heard that one of the dogs in the house was giving birth to 3 puppies. Super shocked, almost dropped my acne cleanser in hand, cause there were more than 10 dogs already at that time. How am I going to live through my life with another 3 puppies? Oh my..

But.. life goes on. One of the puppies passed away and I started to develop a deeper connection with Mei Jing (read: US Dollar). I can play hide and seek with him at the house yard. Too bad he started to learn the wrong way of recycle by eating his and other’s poop. -__-”

As time is ticking and our separation day is getting nearer, I feel like bringing him along to live with us. But nah, I’m not ready to clean up his poop all the time and whatever mess that he might create later. Hopefully he can still recognize me by the time we come back next year. :)
