It’s been 10 months since we registered our own design company and more than 2 years since we built simplyWP, and it’s been many years since we are in love and passionate in WordPress. It has grown from just a blogging platform to online magazine format to website format, you can have website for nutrisystem and also blog.
With that say, we are thinking about venturing into other stuffs. But it’s not easy to find the time to do our personal project aside from clients’ project. It’s now or never, let’s take a baby step to achieve our dream.
Simple really defines our style and it’s portrayed in our wedding ring – a simple white-gold-ring with an extremely small diamond shape in the middle. Choosing white-gold instead of yellow-gold as wedding ring doesn’t seem to be the best decision. Many thought us haven’t married yet, wtf seriously. Some more now after almost 1 year, the rings start to wear out already.

Story #1
This happened not long after our wedding day. We went out for supper with his friend. The men were talking about where to buy cigars and the girlfriend suddenly asked,”Why are you guys wearing silver (or aluminium, I forgot) rings?” Oh well, I wasn’t sure if I should blame the dim light or the ring cause diamond isn’t huge enough to blind one’s eyes.
Story #2
Back in university time, hubby had an internship at the sign-board vendor during semester break. He met with the Boss again few months ago for business.
The wife of the Boss asked: Have you married yet? Do you already have a girlfriend? How if I introduce my younger sister to you? She is elder few years old only from you.
Her husband interrupted: He married already on December last year.
I wasn’t there on the spot though. But I guess can’t blame the lady Boss for being out-dated, cause hubby hasn’t kept in touch with them since the internship years ago. But still… there is a ring on hub’s 4th finger, didn’t it look like a wedding ring at all? -__-”
Story #3
Since we got married and moved to his hometown, we’ve been a regular visitors to this coffee shop nearby our housing area. Then one day before our moving out flight, we went there for breakfast. Hubby went to pay the food, the lady Boss was there as cashier and there was a hair-care salesman talking to the lady Boss as well.
Lady Boss said: Eh, your girlfriend so pretty already, buy this hair product for her la. After use this product sure becomes prettier.
She spoke so loud I could hear it from where I sat. -__-” Wtf auntie, you didn’t see the ring on our 4th finger? *cry out loud*
After those experiences, we concluded that we might need to purchase a pair of gold ring. So people won’t mistaken our married status.
Just saying.
Oh so happy cause we had ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken), an authentic taste of Indonesia, for lunch today!
Where else if not at the famous Ayam Penyet Ria, Sunway Pyramid branch.

Teh Botol + smashed fried chicken set = perfect combination! No need to take flight all the way back to Indonesia to taste the home country’s food. It’s already available here within 20 minutes drive.
Even better, maybe I can learn from the recipe books so I can have ayam penyet more often.

Bill comes at total RM28.55 included tax, with Teh Botol at RM2.90 and each set of food at RM10.70.
Since we moved back to KL on last week Tuesday, we’ve been eating out all day for lunch and dinner. After doing it for few days, laziness strikes as weather is too hot to walk outside. Hot = getting darker + sweat too much, probably can get slim faster than quick weight loss pills in a natural way. Not what I’m looking forward to.
Thought about catering but haven’t found one nearby our area. So, taking MIL’s advice (eating out is not good for health, eat home cooking better), we decided to cook ourselves.
Thanks to this decision, I discover the joy of self-employed, working from home with spouse, which is: we are able to spend quality time while cooking and eating together.

We started the cooking venture with this double-sided-pan, a gift from my Mom all the way from my hometown Medan to KL. Coincidently it’s the type of pan that hubby has been eyeing for. So yay, luckily we haven’t bought it and thank you Mom!
The pan is so helpful, makes cooking easier and less messy. Hubby even thinks of buying another one so we can cook 2 pans at the same time = faster.

Simple meal. Happy couple. Thank you Lord for the blessing that You give us.
It’s 24 hour left before our flight to KL and we haven’t even started to pack yet, plan to do it on Sunday but pending it due to some rush work and etc. I should be panicking now cause we aren’t going for traveling but moving out to other state (read: so many stuffs).
Yeap, big news #1 is that we decided to move back to the messy KL after much of consideration. Decision was made on mid of this year, but we just waited until my passport and social pass were renewed.
Good thing, we’ll be back on CNY next year which is around 4-5 months from now, so we can spare few not-so-important stuffs to be brought on that trip.
Like, how to get rid of blackheads‘s book, tripod, wedding presents from my bro and my friends, blablabla.
We’ve been busy running here and there for the whole morning and afternoon, settling the big news #2 before our moving day and other stuffs. It’s 2nd biggest item in our wish-list. Goddamnohsoexciting! More details to be revealed on next post
I’m so gonna miss my room’s aircon (hello ceiling fan).
