Last Friday was Deepavali Day, an important five-day festival in Hinduism – read more on wiki. It was a public holiday here so we took a day off from work and join the public to have a long weekend. We realize that we need to get a life too! Outside from soc-med like Facebook and Twitter.

So off we went to city center for a meet-up with my high school friend + her hubby, whom ‘escaped’ from Singapore for a weekend getaway. It’s kinda awkward as we haven’t see each other for years, probably 3 or is it 5 years, cant’ remember. But it feels good being able to see each other again. Reminds me about the ‘ku be phau‘ time.

From Chinatown we drove to Berjaya Times Square for late lunch. Can’t think of any other foods that is more Malaysian so we settled for Bar B.Q. Plaza (visit their website), a Thai BBQ which is very much like Korean BBQ style. We’re such a lousy host -__-”

Gotta thanks GPS for guiding us all the way from the house to KL city center. Initially we thought of parked the car at nearest LRT train station and took LRT to city, but one needed touch&go card (new system?) which we don’t have (can’t find other option like paying for hourly or daily rate) while another one has an event going on at the parking area. So wtf.
