Today’s Dinner

Since we always cook at home, I guess it’s only fair to have a new category in this blog called “makan-makan” (read: eating). Nothing fancy, just to record and see how far we can go with our cooking, also how often we eat at home. :P

Most of the time I prepare everything and hubby cooks. When he’s busy, I take over, which is like 3 out of 10 times. Today is one of those days when I cook. So, yay!

Green bean and chicken soup – where the soup ingredient was bought all the way from my hometown, thanks to my Mum. That Amway’s pot also given by her. :D

It’s like lacking something without spicy feel, so that prawn chili on top, oh so yummy, always complete our meal.

What Is Pressure

The definition of pressure is different for everyone. It could be when people surrounding you keep on asking “when you gonna get married?”, or maybe you start freelance for a few months yet not much income and parent keep nagging you to just go back to 9-6 job, or you’re alone at the highway have to figure out how to use curt trailer hitch, or other worse scenario, I don’t know la.

As for me, I’ve just found a new definition to pressure. It’s when my our ex-Boss and mentor (or rather company as a whole) become my our client. Heh, life.

Yeah, my our, cause there was time when hubby and I had internship at same agency, different department.

Let’s keep this pressure in the positive side ;)

Dream Comes True

Oh Wow, see how fast time flies? We’re in the first day of April now. Am getting panic while checking what I have done and achieve for the past 3 months of 2011. Many things still remain as a plan and not yet being realized. Sigh. Definitely not good. Some people might already get fit with the best creatine supplements and here I am with no achievement.

Anyway, speaking of dream comes true, I had a dream that a good friend of mine is looking for me and need my help. But before I can answer her, I woke up already. -__-” Aiyo, why la wake up, let me finish my dream first, can?

Then in the afternoon, she contacted me for chatting. This time, in real life. Wah… I can’t help not to connect it with my dream. So coincident, like a dream comes true. :P

It’s been a while since we last chat, so we shared quite a lot. And, I mentioned that if only there is an extremely cheap air ticket from Airasia, then I’ll be able to fly back hometown for weekend or so.

Guess what, in the evening Airasia announced that their Flyday promo (on every Friday) is buy 1 get 1 free, for Nov’11 to Feb’12 flight! Another dream (or rather prayer) comes true. :D

I waited no more and managed to grab return ticket from KL to my hometown for 2 person at RM130 only, for early November, 5 days. Woohoo! We didn’t purchase luggage/seat/insurance/meal. Travel lightly, as in budget. Cheaper than taking bus to Penang or other state here.

Hah, exciting now, although I know it’s still a long way to go til November. But whatever, I can imagine the foods, friends and family.
