What Happen With the Goal

Funny how I seems to be so much diligent in blogging nowadays. No fail of having one post per day since last Saturday. Pat my own back first and let’s cherish on it while it last.

I believe once I’m back to the hustle bustle city, I’ll neglect this space again. :P

There is so many thing to do when you stay on your own, which is more important than blogging, such as laundry, ironing, boil water make sure all the water bottles are full, cooking, organize stuffs, have a walk in the garden to refresh mind, etc. Not complaining though.

Back in my in law place, they have a domestic helper so I basically just work, eat, sleep. Not fun. But it allows me and hubby to concentrate more on work, which is good. On the down side, we don’t have a proper work station. Have a full energy but the environment doesn’t support us, hate it!

Anyway, I do hope to have energy to stick with my goal, like SP from DevPress with his 32-day-design-challenge. Basically one theme design per day (not coding). I can hardly stick with 1 theme per month, mostly focus on clients’ project.

Speaking of which, my 30 Days Challenge of Making Things Happen doesn’t work really well. Sigh.

Must. stay. to. the. goal. now!

Ah Rainy Day

Or rather rainy week, with strong wind making it so cold like living in highland.

Anyway, I’m living the not-so-glamour tai tai life now which will last for a few days. Yes, am back to hubby’s hometown.

Renewed my pass, still for one year term only. I was hoping to have two or five years along with working pass but nah, not that fast yet. Let alone PR or citizenship.

Speaking of that, we met a few friends last night and was asked whether I’ve received citizenship already or not. Common question, so we said no bla3. Everyone thought you will automatically get MY citizenship once you married to M’sian, as easy as changing canon camera batteries. Or at least a PR after living here for a few years. Sadly it’s not that easy.

Sometimes we did wonder about the future, what if we’re an old grandma grandpa already and I still don’t get the citizenship here, how if we are separated by *touch wood* death? Many what-if for us and we don’t have any certainty answers. Let’s see what does the almighty God has in store for us. :)

Besides, if one day the gov grants me citizenship, I’m not sure if I’m ready to let go of my original citizenship. I quite like this country, but so far I don’t feel that I’m belong to here.

Imagine if I have a new citizenship, by law I will be a foreigner to my home-country and holding a tourist visa when I want to visit my parent. Writing this has made me feel weird already.

Using the classic quote, let’s go with the flow, shall we? :D

Just Spray and It’s New Again

It’s all started when hubby wanted to fix the scratched rim over the weekend. When he accidentally scratched the rim while doing reversed parking, he was heartache all day long, while I gave it-is-not-a-big-deal-no-one-will-notice-the-rim-anyway kind of reaction. If it’s the car’s body, I’ll pay attention, but not when it comes to rim. :P

So he bought the spray can and all materials needed, along with a white color spray intended for a wall shelf. The project is quite successful.

Then I asked if we can spray the canned in white cause some already rusty, but I don’t want to throw away yet. #dibuangsayang :P He tried and the old canned looks like new again in white now. Yay!

Be Vegetarian for One Week

That’s what the doctor #3 told hubby recently. Not only to avoid seafood, but all meat and egg. Heh, great timing, can’t we start after we’ve finished up the pork and beef meat in our fridge? :P

All because of this itchy rashes that hubby had since one month ago. Yes, one month, two doctors at the same clinic – both general doctor not specialist – giving general assumption (allergic to something, sweat, etc).

Getting slightly better but not fully recover. Good thing it doesn’t spread to other person, I’m safe so far. Else it’s not funny to see the two of us scratching our body part all day long.

So last week we went to doctor #3 at different clinic. He said it’s eczema, most probably allergic to something, but what is that something we don’t know yet. He just said, eat the medicines that he gave and be vegetarian for a week, then come back for further check up.

We’re doing it, so we bought a few vegetarian food from supermarket to replace the meat consumption. The above pic is our first try, sweet and sour veg rib. :P

It reminds me of the vegetarian foods at Cemara Asri temple back in my hometown. It’s been a while since I last visited that place.

Gotta update my must-eat list, cause November is coming real soon!

Oh Weekend!

I might not be a millionaire. I might not be riding a BMW with chauffeur. I might not be living in a top hill’s bungalow overlooking the KL city. I might not be having a collection of Apple’s stuffs. [insert any other luxury high end thing that one can think of..]

But, I think it’s safe for me to say that… I have achieved what I want in life. Any other thing that will be given to me is a bonus already. Like maybe a trip to somewhere across the world? :P

I don’t know, this feeling just came as I was doing my usual house chore just now. It was so quiet and serene, no noisy sounds from the schools nearby as it’s weekend. I enjoyed and blended in with the moment, and thought,”Ya man, this is the lifestyle that I wanted for so long! I finally found it!”

Well, could be because what I want isn’t much or could it be because it’s weekend, giving me a super good mood. Or could be because few days ago we talked about what if we didn’t move out to KL, but remained in his hometown. Would we have more saving? Well, maybe, but we definitely won’t be having the freedom and experience of living on our own, basically we won’t have the life that we’re having now.

Oh well, gotta thank the almighty Him for watching us. :)
