Managed to capture this beautiful rainbow, oh wait not just one but two!, before the heavy downpours.
We’re in rainy season now, with clear blue sky in day time and heavy downpours in the afternoon or evening. Loving this time of the year cause weather is so cool, like having an air-con on. Sometimes we don’t even need to turn on the fan.

I’ve been busy living the best out of my life lately. When I’m not doing clients’ projects, you can find me working on our own projects. Aside from projects, there is house chore, grocery shopping, coffee time chit-chatting with dearest husband, watch Taiwan idol dramas, go to the mall, car washing, fetch friend from the airport, and whats not.
Now that I have a chance to blog, I realize we’ve passed mid October. Wow, Mr. Time, can you please slow down a bit?
Anyway, foodie pictures time, which I dig from my pic folders over the years. Cause recently I’ve been thinking and craving for my hometown’s food; ateng kwetiau which isn’t oily and dark like what they have in KL, a real big size of delicious coconut drink, sate padang, nasi padang, etc.
The grass is always greener on the other side. The plus size maternity clothes or other fashion stuffs in KL might be ‘greener’ (read: better) than in Medan. But no matter how better KL is compare to Medan, it won’t win on the culinary part (to me). Nothing beats hometown food.

Not a recent trip, but dated back in September 2010 last year which I haven’t blog about.
It was my first time going for a trip with hubby’s extended family (in-laws, aunties, uncles, cousins, etc), can feel how nervous I was. Also first time visiting a real small kampong/village; green scenery, wood house, no steel building, fresh air, peaceful.
We went there by speed-boat, followed by taking a ride on a Toyota Hilux. There was more than 15 people I guess, all fit in the Hilux, with ladies inside the car and the gentlemen standing at the back. Added on the bumpy road, it was quite an adventurous journey.
It was Eid Mubarak month, hence we had the chance to eat rendang, ketupat, etc.
It’s an eye-opener experience! Had a good time too, except when we we were packed like sardines in the Hilux.

Dear 14 yo me,
I bet you didn’t see this coming. Drum roll please, cause I’m delivering a big news, bigger than getting the ipod nano 8g, it is… 11 years later you’ll get to attend your fave boyband’s concert! No kidding! Hah, I know you can’t wait to be in your mid twenty now.
Onto the details. You’ll go to the concert with your other half, instead of your friends.
But no worry, many bring their other half as well, some going with friends, some with their family.
The atmosphere at the stadium is so awesome and fans are crazily enthusiasts. Your fave member, Mark, is getting chubbier but his vocal is still as great as before. Shane, Kian, Nicky are equally awesome too. The only down side, the concert started late by 35 minutes from the scheduled time.
Oh, on a side note, someone proposed to his gf on the stage! The highlight is, Westlife congrats them and give a hug on her. Everyone is screaming and wish to be at her place! Then Westlife continues with “My Love”.
A wonderful experience

Google Web Fonts is the best thing ever! Though it started with very little font, the font collection grows rapidly = more beautiful fonts and most importantly,it’s free! *cheapskate mode on*

There goes the era of using web-safe fonts; Arial, Verdana, etc. Now my fave sanserif font for body copy: Varela, Muli, Open Sans. Currently this blog is using Muli font, just changed from Arial. It’s looking so good, I can stare at my blog all day long!
