Our apartment’s balcony hasn’t been exposed to direct sunlight for the last 6 months, during the wet/rainy season. That’s the best time of the year! Get to hang laundry or chill at the balcony without getting sun burnt.

Well, we knew that the great time will end anytime soon since it’s March now.

As I came back home and walked to the balcony, I saw it! I mean the sunlight is finally here. Add that with the crazy heat and sunny day, I guess it’s safe to say the hot/dry season is here already. Saying bye to cashmere gifts for girlfriend and hello tank-tops.

Tid bits of the above picture: We painted the balcony before Chinese New Year this year. In the pots are Aloe Vera, brought all the way from my Grandma’s house in my hometown. They grow so fast! Need bigger pots now.
