Having taken things for granted, I realize it’s time to acknowledge all the small details in life. This week, it’s related to food – ah, my favorite topic.
It happened on last Sunday when we had full car window film tinting. The work was completed around 6pm. We were quite hungry but too early for dinner – it’s a neither here nor there kind of situation – so we thought of grabbing a burger first before heading to a friend’s place for car wash. But, none of the burger stalls in the neighborhood were opened yet. Bummer!
We thought ok, let’s see if there was any burger stall on the way to his friend’s place. Then, his friend called asking when we’d be there and said he had 4 slices of pizza waiting for us. Coincidence or what? Thank you Lord for listening to us!
Else, I’d be grumpy due to stomach growling & maybe gastric pain as we didn’t come across any burger stall on the way to his friend’s place.
Next up, it happened on today. We had a late lunch and thus late dinner. I thought of burger but again, no luck in finding an open stalls. The usual stalls were closed, I was about to give up and just went back home with empty hand.
But again, God listens. We found a Ramly burger stall at an unexpected place nearby catering equipment supplies store, yippieyay! We tabao the burgers, bought drinks and had a late night picnic at the park downstairs. Casual dating, it’s fun!
If hubby decided to drive the other way or drive home, there’ll be no burger.
