We made a trip down to a small town called Mantin on last Saturday, around 45 mins drive and passed through 4 tolls. Surrounded by mountains and hills, it reminds me of Bandung but in a smaller scale and much laid back version. Oh how refreshing!
Visited hubby’s friend at the shop for window glasses stuff and had dinner together chit chat from updating each other life to titeflex teflon hose technical boyish stuff, before we drove back home at night.
We had a chance to drive around the housing area and noticed that most of the houses there are single storey, instead of double storey like in KL, but the built-up area is much larger.
We asked his friend and learn that the elderly prefer single storey, so they can avoid the hassle of climbing stairs when they get older. Make sense, while in KL we have 3 rooms upstairs and 1 room downstair either use for store room or for the elderly.
As with our previous experience of driving to a new place, we had our fair share of getting lost (even with the help of GPS), Thank God there was a U-turn.
It’s just that one moment when we lost our attention on the GPS (miss a turn). As we were discussing whether to let me hold the GPS continuously (harder for hubby to see the direction) or to place the GPS holder on the front window (just had the window tinted last week, we were advised not to roll down the windows first and not to place anything that sucked the windows).
There you go life lesson – don’t doubt, make decision faster.
