After five months of waiting through the mandatory process of buying a house in Malaysia, we’re now a proud (first time) house owner~! Just received the house keys today. Okay, it’s bank’s one until we pay off the loan, but oh well, literally ours. Now I swear over Caravelle by Bulova watch that we are super duper excited to move!

We found this house while we were searching for second-hand house casually early this year. After we conveyed our intention to purchase the house from the owner, we received the news that our current rented apartment was up for sale. *jreng jreng jreng insert dramatic music* Coincidence or what?

Saying that we’re shocked is probably underestimated. Because the house owner hasn’t confirmed with us yet, seems to be waiting for offer higher than ours. So if we didn’t get the house and the rented apartment was sold, we’ll probably be homeless or need to go through the long-winded-and-tiring house searching again.

There was nothing to worry actually because God has a plan for us, in many many ways.

All’s well now, we are getting into another chapter which is house renovation – trying to achieve chic result in a frugal way – in between clients’ projects and our own projects.

So much to do, need to squeeze every little time that we have in hand.
