Top 10 Web Hosting

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Behind every domain name and blogs, there is this great pillar called web hosting. If the hosting is down or suddenly *puff* disappears, there goes our blogs. Bless you if you have the back up. I myself never take this for serious. I thought,”How bad could it be? A few times of down time is fine. The web hosting can’t suddenly ‘close shop’ and ‘disappear’ eh?

But after reading the recent case that hit Chiq from WPTD (where the host suddenly gone away), I think I shall change my mind and be careful while choosing web hosting. For a web-hosting-noob like me, I have no idea what to look for while choosing a good web hosting. But at least I can refer to WebHostingGeeks for the top 10 web hosting rating chart. It lists down the features (price, space), bonus features, and hosting review.

Here is the top 10 list:
1. Inmotion
2. BlueHost
3. HostingPad
4. Yahoo
5. Hostmonster
6. Globat
7. Vistapages
8. Lunarpages
9. Dot5Hosting
10. FastNext

Read the reviews on WebHostingGeeks if you still confuse which web-hosting to go for. ;)

Cute mousey flat shoes

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

I was dropping ec when I came across this cute mousey flat shoes.

cute-mouse-shoes

I like the red and white (not silver) one. But I almost faint down when I see the price. They are sold at $250! Available at Shoes.com. I was like,”What? I will be stepping on $250? Can use to buy an LCD already lo.” I can’t blame the expensive price because the shoes is made by Marc Jacobs.

Wondering when I can throw hundred dollars for a shoes.

One thing I can’t live without

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Here is a thought for the weekend: What would you bring with you if the world ended and you have to move to the other planet? Hm, it seems to be pretty tough as I have so many things that I want to bring along with me. I need my Dell computer, my handphone, my cup, my digicam, my purse, my bag, my clothes, my sandals, etc. If can, the whole house.

But think again, one thing that I can’t live without would be my mini Garfield bolster which has been with me for 2 and a half years. It was brought all the way from Sarawak to KL to Medan, travel across the countries. It accompanies me through the lonely night, when I feel like crying and missing him.

This thought came up after I came across this game called Tabula Rasa, Operation Immortality: Leave your mark. Save Humanity.; an action-packed sci-fi multiplayer online game that puts players in the middle of a never-ending fight for freedom against the alien race known as the Bane. You can play this game for free cause there is 7 day free trial with no credit card and no obligation. If my cousin (the ‘Donald Duck’) is still in Medan, I’m sure he will stick to the computer once he gets to know this game.

Get to experience the game yourself!

The after-effect of dropping too many Entrecard

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Now, I have the schedule of returning the drop in my Entrecard inbox everyday. I have 4 blogs in there and I will drop about 40-50 for one blog. That would be total 200 (average) per day. If the connection is pretty good which means I don’t need to keep on refresh Firefox for Entrecard widget to appear, I will probably drop more or double from that amount.

Sometimes, while returning the drop, I will click on the feature blog (with interesting picture and name like compact flash) and drop which become a chain. Don’t understand? Bleh, I don’t know how to explain. But, whatever. The point is, I think I am so used to drop entrecard that whenever I come across someone’s blog, I will scroll the whole page (up and down and right and left) just to search for the Entrecard widget. Who knows they hide it at the bottom there and wanting the visitors to read the post first. -__-” Then only I realized, not everyone has Entrecard widget. Duh.

Get to know about stem cell bank

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Discussing about the menstrual cycle related thing in and for the public can be quite unease sometimes. Well, let’s don’t care about it cause I have found something interesting to be shared with the women and it has something to do with the menstrual thing and saving someone’s life.

Cut the crap, here is the info. C’elle exclusive and revolutionary stem cell technology empowers women to safely and easily collect non-controversial, potentially life-saving stem cells found in menstrual blood. Scientific study of C’elle stem cells was recently published in the prestigious Journal of Cell Transplantation.

C’elle menstrual stem cells have demonstrated the ability to differentiate into other cell types such as heart muscle, cartilage, nerve and bone stem cells. This translates into the potential for future therapeutic developments to possibly treat major diseases like diabetes, heart disease, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s; as well as possible cosmeceutical applications like anti-aging and wound-healing.

Oh my.. I think I need to spare some time from online and read more About the Science. I never know the blood that was flush down to the toilet every month is very useful and important. It can even save someone’s life. Maybe mine in the future as menstrual stem cells are a 100% match for the woman donor and may possibly match her first degree relatives.

There is a special promotion right now where you can purchase C’elle online for only $499, which means you save $200! Head off to C’elle Client Testimonial page to get more info about stem cell. Don’t wait to invest in yourself today for tomorrow’s healthcare.

Meet the Sproutwells

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

There is so many cartoons and movies about alien coming to the earth and living among us. But, have you ever imagine how if it is the fruits and veggies that come alive? Hm, that will be pretty interesting like the following video, about the sproutwells family, your typical fruit and veggie family living among humans. I choose to be a cucumber if I were a veggie. Why? Cause cucumber is taller than other veggie. :P

The cartoon is quite cute. The first episode tells about the housewarming surprise. Kids will find it interesting, I guess. I will share it with my 4 years old cousin when he pays a visit to my house. You may want to share it to others too?
