Happy 63th Independence day to Indonesia!
Since it is the independence day / merdeka / free and Sunday, I set myself free from work and dropping Entrecard.
Tomorrow is a public holiday and it will still be a family day for me, like today. It feels good to take some rest from rushing work and thinking how to make more money.

1. I have an almost 2 hours driving course today; all the day from my house to the next learner’s house which is oh-so-far from the city. It is located deep down inside the Johor Baru complex (Oh yes, we have Johor Baru in Medan too, not only Malaysia has it :P). I wonder why do some people live so damn far away from the city? Duh.
2. Driving 2 freaking hours is so tiring and takes lots of my concentration. But it is fun at the same time, than 30 minutes only.
3. Writing in point form is so much fun and organized than writing in paragraph form.
At least for me. I can see the point clearer and each subject is separated clearly.
4. Ever since I opened a blog in Blogger, specially for joining contests, I’ve been joining almost every contests that I came across.
Alright, that’s too much. Most of the contests that I joined gives Entrecard credit or cash. If not, it would be stuff like necklace, t-shirt, etc. Me like it. Visit Wiehanne’s Contest to see what contests I’ve came across.
5. Too many work to settle, too little time to do. I wish I can sleep for 4 hours only and use the other 20 hours to do my work, watch TV, eat, etc. But I can’t, I have to sleep at least 8 hours to be fully charged. Duh.
6. I’ve downloaded a few mini games; fully version. Will write about it with the download link later on.

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it
*Sing it ala the possum in Ice Age 2* The driving course is so far so good. Sometimes I am so high that I believe I can fly with the car.
The fact is the other way round, the max that I go is 40km/h and I often find myself driving at 20km/h.

Let me just write the 2 days experience in point form:
1. I was assigned to 10 x 30 minutes course instead of 12 x 30 minutes, which means there is no theory class. Stupid staff, what’s wrong with his ears and listening skill? This issue brought the second issue up.
2. The instructor suggested this: he could give me additional hours by paying him some money; which is cheaper compare to adding more hours through the company. Mum has told me about this, but I never expect to hear it on the first day.
3. We settled the deal, I get the chance to drive for 1 hour but he just wrote 30 minutes in the form. The additional money went in his own pocket. Alright, no need to be so surprised, it’s a common thing in Medan. People need the extra money to survive after all.
4. First day, I was already being asked to drive the car on the street. I was like,”What?” Cause the last time I took the course, I was asked to learn turn-right & turn-left in a housing area that almost has no car passing by.
5. It was good that I got the chance to drive on the streets that I have to go through almost everyday in the future; i.e. Sutomo, Asia, Thamrin, Sutrisno. Unlike last time, I was asked to drive to some outskirt area which I don’t even know that it exist, simply because I gotta fetch the next ’student’.
6. After my turn, it is the other girl’s turn. She is a Batak race, but she speaks like a Malay. I couldn’t believe that she is really an Indonesian at the first time.
Then only I knew that she studied in Penang, Malaysia. So, well, language influence by the local friends I guess. Like how I speak different Hokkien with the KL mates and Medan friends.
I think I have the 7th point, but I have forgotten it.
Whatever. Looking forward to tomorrow and can’t wait til I ‘graduate’!

Oh my.. I’m in a tension mood right now due to the fact that I will start my driving lesson tomorrow. Why?
1. I am scare that I won’t be able to drive and park the big butt Innova after 10 days. It is a manual MPV and not small city car like Hyundai Atoz, wei.
2. My mum is relying on me to be the driver when my Dad is outstation.
3. The fact that it is a new car (1 week old as of today) makes me feel more tension. How if I scratch it or accidentally bang into something? You know, there is so many bumpy and small street in Medan. Not only that, everyone drives like mad horse and I doubt my own skill.
4. I am not a multitask person, hence I scare I will be confuse working with the gear and brake altogether.

However, die die also I have to success in this driving lesson. I can’t end up don’t know how to park like 5 years ago. Luckily there is no driving test in Indonesia in order to get the driving license.
This time I will learn using Toyota Kijang LGX with air-con, unlike 5 years ago when I have to use the old Kijang without air-con and power-steering. Ugh. The lesson starts at 9.30am for 30 minutes and last for 12 days; 2 days introduction to the car’s machine, how to change tyre bla bla bla and the other 10 days for driving and parking itself.
Wish me luck!

1. Finished the theme design and glad that the client like it. Who is she? I’ll reveal it when her blog is up.
This is the self satisfaction that money can’t buy. You see, the power of design and the complicated ‘poem’ (coding).
2. I’ve been thinking about the boyfriend’s word and I guess he is right. Why buying so many domains if I can’t handle it half year later? *check the future-plan-list* So, I’ll just create another blogs in blogger if I want any.
3. I see myself as a very organized person and this blog has become so messy; from a personal blog turn to a commercialized rojak blog. Duh. Hence I’ve been creating new blogs so that I won’t be stuffing everything here.
4. Creating new blog is an addiction. It is interesting, from choosing the Blogger theme to adjust it. But I still prefer Wordpress than Blogger. The dashboard of Blogger is just too dark for me. Can’t they choose something light and bright like Wordpress?
5. I had porridge as my dinner and I can hear my stomach growling now. -__-” See, I have to eat rice to be full or else, I have to sleep early at 9pm something. I’ll drink the UHT milk before sleep then.
6. The boyfriend wrote the best LDR (Long Distance Relationship) advice ever. The answer’s tone is so… him. Oh well, of course, he wrote it.
7. Tomorrow is scheduled to do theme design for our blog. I shall stick to it instead of keep on turning the modem on and surf the internet. Blogging can wait, entrecard can wait, traffic can wait.
8. Happy weekend, people!

No worry. It’s not my blog that is under construction but my house.
The workers are working on the front part of the house to make the ground level higher by 40-50cm.

It is the 6th day of the construction. It was planned to be done in a week. Hopefully they can get it done on time. The house is a mess now and there is more mosquitoes than usual. *headache*
Anyway, I’ve been wanting to change my theme (again) and I’ve found the reason to.
Since I’ve finished my freelance work, I think I could use my time to design one. Before that, I’ll ask the boyfriend to change my sidebar first. It looks so clutter and messy now. I hate un-organized look.

Due to the kindness of my Dad’s friend, we have more than 2 dozen eggs now. That is after we gave some of the eggs to the neighbors. With such amount of eggs, suddenly we are consuming it more than usual. Half boil egg in the morning, fried egg for lunch, sandwich with egg for tea time and fried egg for dinner. -__-”

Now I am back with the habit of eating 2 half-boil-eggs in the morning. I remember I used to have it as part of my daily breakfast back in the school time. Hmm.. No wonder I have more ‘balls’ (as in guts) back then compare to now. I become more ‘chicken’ now, scare of this and that. Maybe eating chicken-related-menu everyday has cause me to become more kiasi.
Oh well, this post is the result of eating too much eggs and chicken meat. Duh..
