Yes, it took this T-shirt 6 months to arrive in my hand, thanks to the careless me.
Story goes like this, somewhere on December last year I joined an online contest (just leaving comment) and the next thing I knew, I was one of the T-shirt winners. Well yay, I took it as my Christmas present.
Nick from 66thieves.com contacted me and asked for my address so he can ship the Tee. I gave and waiting eagerly for the item to arrive. Christmas passed, New Year came, Chinese New Year passed, still waiting eagerly.
On mid March this year, Nick informed me that the Tee was being returned. *Woots* I re-checked the address that I gave him on my earliest email. Guess what, I accidentally added an extra number to the address. DOH! But the good man already re-send it to me, probably using the old wrong address.
Ok, never mind, I thought the Tee might not make it to Malaysia already. Then came house moving and I forgot about the Tee. Come to think of it, fortunately I didn’t put wrong address on important things like term life insurance and such.
Until one day (few weeks ago), a friend sms-ed us, that a T-shirt package just arrived at her place. However, the 2 dogs bite the envelope, not sure if Tee was alright.
Oh Wow, I was so glad the monster T-shirt made its way here. I expected the Tee was torn apart already but surprisingly it was still intact. Hah, proven what’s yours is yours.
So here I am posing with the T-shirt on my fave corner, partly want to show the Ikea Klobo sofa with the new light-blue throw = extra comfy.

Much thanks to 66thieves.com for the effort to ship the free T-shirt!
Found this from a tweet.

I grew up watching Home Alone which was played on TV every Christmas holiday. I always portray Macaulay Culkin as the cute boy with red lip. And what? He is 30 now? Where does the time go?
That reminds me that I’m hitting mid twenty in few weeks time. Oh yea, the big TWO FIVE! Quarter life crisis is kicking in.
Sometimes I still feel like I’m a college student, that I’ll go back hometown when semester break comes and I’ll get to hangout with the girls, my family, indulge with Medan’s foods, etc. But sadly no.
It’s been more than 4 years since college graduation, 8 years since high school, 9 years since my Sweet 16 Invitations birthday party. Wow! When I was still in primary, I couldn’t wait to grow up and went to senior high school, so I could wear the grey skirt.
It came and on the 1st week of the new semester, me & a few good friends went to a shopping mall nearby my neighborhood, after class of course. Proudly wore our white grey uniform, like wanting to let the whole world knew that we were officially a senior high school’s students.

High school was fun, as life wasn’t that serious. Now I wish to have a photoshoot with the girls taking place at school, wearing high school uniform, just for the sake of keeping memory. Cause compact digicam and mobile phone with camera weren’t that IN back then. We still used camera with film and the bulky Nokia3310.
Oh well, I am old a grown up now. Deal with it, Kat!
We had a meeting yesterday at KL city center. So we drove and parked our car at the nearest train station (Bukit Jalil), then took the train to city center.

We came back few hours later to find that Xiao Bai (our car) was stuck in the 3 layer parking, it was only one layer when we parked there. The irony, the cars behind us (left and right) left already, but not the one that was directly behind us.
You get the frustration? We thought we can go back home enjoy the cool weather (it was raining after a week of super hot day!) and the rest of our Sunday.
We peeked inside, both cars (in front and behind us) pulled the hand-break so there was no way to push one of those away. Great! We paid RM2 for whole day parking just to get stuck. Can’t we have a parking attendant, at least, to monitor the parking and all since there is no proper parking line there?
We waited for few minutes and decided to go somewhere else. We saw people kept on coming out from the other side, each of them brought a red bag with football gifts. So we followed where they came from and arrived at a hall. Apparently there was some event going on, an acrobat from China, the one where they stretched their body like there is no limitation – oh so elastic. My first time seeing it live, although through sneaked in and no seat *Ooopss*
We spend around 15 minutes or more there and left to the car park again. Then waited for another 30 minutes. It was almost 7pm and I can’t wait to go home for dinner. Thank God the owner of the-Scoda-in-front-of-us came and quickly drove his car away for us.
We left with anger, which we weren’t sure whether we should point it to the car in front us or behind us. Sigh.
Dream comes true! Can you feel my excitement?
What does a home mean if there is no sofa, right? So ya, we need a sofa, but it wasn’t in the priority list and we didn’t plan to spend too much in it.
We kept on hunting by looking around local furniture shop. But even the-most-basic-with-ugly-fabric two or three seat couch costed RM600. A rather decent one was RM1000 above. I even searched online classified ads, but a second hand sofa is out of our budget too. Ugh, dream killer.
Not giving up, hubby and I searched on IKEA site and found the two-seat Klobo {link here} at RM349 is the lowest-rate in the market. We love the minimalist design too. Despite the low rate, We still wait for the right time to purchase.
On a side note, I have a tendency to search on Mudah – an online marketplace in Malaysia {link here} for preloved/second hand IKEA stuffs.
Guess what, early this week someone posted a three-months-old Klobo for sale at RM250 in Mudah! Cut the story short, we got the Klobo from a friendly European couple. After disassemble, it fitted perfectly in xiao-bai a.k.a our sedan.

Looking just like a brand new couch. What’s missing is props, like cushions and frames on the wall behind it (where I added dot dot dot on the above pic
). We don’t plan to add a slipcover. A red throw will do the job.
Lesson of the day: if you want to purchase something but on tight budget, keep your eye closely on online marketplace / forum / local 2nd hand shop (if any).
