It’s not work when you love what you’re doing

It’s not seldom we have friends whom give us the pity look or ask whether we feel boring or not, since work takes so much part of our life (from day time to night time) it looks like we don’t have life and need to get a life. *complicated sentence* :P

I understand where they come from and appreciate their attention. Well, tell you what,
1) I’m gonna say aloud that IT (re: work) IS MY LIFE! and
2) I don’t feel like it’s work, as I love and enjoy doing it from research to design to replying emails to online marketing and many more.

Just like the following quotes:

I never worked a day in my life. It’s not work when you love what you’re doing. ~David Shakarian
My father always told me, ”Find a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. ~Jim Fox

There goes the time when I work like a robot or sit in the office waiting eagerly for 5pm to come so I can off from work and go back home, shut myself from work stuffs. Or even work just for the sake of having a job and get the salary every month.

I don’t mind spending more time with the so-called-work. Just like how I don’t mind spending more time with my love one. Or for example, enrolling in rv travel emergency program won’t feel like a burden if you really wanna do it.

And all those ain’t because I work from home. But because I’ve found something that I love and enjoy doing. Really, it is not just a work. Guess it is passion. Web + design, my geek side gets to meet my creative side.

Have you found yours? If you haven’t, don’t wait any longer! Life is too short to be doing things that you dislike. :)

Monthly Spring Cleaning

We decided to have a monthly spring cleaning that happens at the end of each month; basically clean every corner of the house to the details; an additional to daily house cleaning. That way it will keep things more organize and clean, in which hopefully will bring a better atmosphere to the new month.

Today is our first one. Tiring but am satisfy with the result, like a new home again. :P Below is a picture from the balcony. Hubby clean the glass door, it’s spanking clean and clear now. And yeap, it’s a sunny hot day with clear blue sky, can see the mountains so clear.

Left side with arrow is the glass door, right side is without, can’t really differentiate both eh?

Nothing better than being away from keyboard on Sunday and do activity together with the husband. We rewarded ourselves with McDonald’s meal for dinner after the hardwork. Burger + french fries + Milo Ice, sinful but yummy.

Well, I’m ready to close May, and welcome June. Bring it on!

Shop Til Drop

Almost one week since the last post, can tell that I’m lazy to blog busy eh? :P

Anyway, my Mum was visiting us on last Friday til Monday hence it was a long weekend for us and my brother. It means shopping til drop, as in physically drop = exhausted = can feel like my legs are going to break = need massage so badly, and eat til super duper full. My bro might need sensa weight loss if we continue like this.

Funny how my legs get tired easily when I window-shopping only, but no sign of tired when I really shop/spend money. -_-” Proven that wander around with no goal will just drain one’s energy.

The peak is on Saturday when we drove to KL 10am and reached home 10pm, lucky no traffic jam pheww. Spent time in Bukit Bintang; from TimesSquare to Sungei Wang to Pavilion to Fahrenheit to KLCC park (then it rain cats and dogs), felt so much like a tourist.

As the family bonding time is over, we’re back to our routine now. Loads of stuffs to tidy up on the work part. :)

Extra Heat and Haze

This early morning I still thought “Wah what a misty weather, shouldn’t be so hot today.” Heh, proven I was wrong. It turns out to be haze, said from Sumatra. Again, just like the good old time, I mean college time back in 2005 and 2006.

haze

We were thinking of shop for the best bookshelf speakers and electric stabilizer but can’t be bothered to leave the house.

Well, extremely hot weather + haze + tired from moving + not so stable internet line (am not talking about fast/slow) from our back-up P1 Wimax results in an unproductive day. Just feel so unenergized.

Drink more water, peeps :)

The heat is unbearable!

Seriously, out of no where the weather just turn upside down. No more rain, not just normal sunny day but with extra heat, and the wind is hot. The result: extra sweat and free sauna! Good side, no need heater as the water from tap/shower is hot enough even on midnight.

We’re staying indoor as much as possible during day time and only did the home-stuffs-shopping and moving in the evening for 7 days in a row, which is enough to drain our energy.

It was a fun one especially on IKEA day – Tuesday. But as I woke up this morning, I felt exhausted as if the sleep is not enough. It got me thinking if we were to move again in the next one year. Hell no! Such a nightmare. Give me a break, at least 2 years til our next moving, hopefully to our dream house.

But see the bright side, moving slowly is better than moving in one go, I believe it will be 100x more tiring especially in arranging stuffs. Well, tomorrow Monday is the peak/official moving day. Finally, phew.. Am hoping for a better weather.

Ok, picture time. Below is my ideal bedroom, in terms of color scheme – white and turquoise. How lovely!
