On a sunny Monday noon, these two love birds who met in the right place & at the right time almost 7 years ago *cough cough* decided that it was the time to buy a better grown-ups watches in pair.
Many thanks to Mr. Lim
for recommending a rather trust-able watches shop, located nearby Sibu Heritage Center. Otherwise we almost being conned to buy an in-house watches brand from a shop in Wisma Sanyan. -__-”

Spent quite some time in looking for the right one, probably ten times longer than someone looking for best fat burner in supermarket. We agreed on this pair of Crocodile’s, at RM520 for both.
Dear watches, be ready to follow us in the journey of discovering life for many more years to come
Once our friend asked: your wedding ceremonies are on different dates, so which one is the anniversary date?
Okay, 28 Nov – our I Do moment at church, 29 Nov – bride side’s reception at Medan, 6 Dec – actual day with Chinese wedding ceremony, 19 Feb – marriage registration. We picked 6 Dec as our wedding anniversary date, cause that’s when he fetched me and my Dad officially handed his bao bei daughter. Full stop.

One of the drafts for our wedding card. But we didn’t use it due to the high cost for custom card printing.
So yeah, today marks 6 months of our wedding and marriage. I know 6 months is peanuts compare to the many more years to come. But still it’s a day to celebrate our togetherness (read: farewell to LDR).

I am glad and feel blessed, cause am able to make a living from my design skill + web + internet, and that I took the plunge to freelance two and half year ago. Thanks to that, I can follow my husband to move into this small town without leaving my career behind or worry about employment screening service. Basically can follow him wherever he will go, just like Digi yellow-man.
Cause that’s the point of us getting married, to stay together and ditch LDR.

I am also amaze with my patience, ability to live and be-friend with the 8 dogs and 3 puppies. Those who know me well surely understand how I never get used to dogs and cats. My family dislike pets, I ran when I saw a dog, and I cried when the cat’s tail touched my leg (during college time). But it’s the opposite thing now, thanks to the power of love and such. But I still can’t cope with cat (sound, poop, fur) although I don’t have the fear like before.
Living with in law is so far so good, although I was quite scare cause we have so many unpleasant stories about mother in law and daughter in law. But hey, even if it’s not now, we might live with my in law in the future when they are older. Can’t be leaving them at old folk’s home or even alone at another house right? So, nothing to lose for facing the fear now.
I am lucky that the typical mother in law from hell doesn’t apply on my MIL. She gives us freedom, she never complains and blab on how I can’t cook, she ta-bao fried Indian Mee from Mitsu (that’s my fave!), she never pushes us to give her grandson anytime soon, and the list goes on. Of course there is some issue on habit and so on, we don’t share the same mind after all. But it isn’t something to be fussy about.
Aside from those blessings, I do have complaints here and there about this town and other things. But that’s what makes life balance, no?
Oh yeah, it’s just the third day of June but I am loving this month so much! No, not because of the extra long holiday (from last Friday Waisak Day to yesterday Gawai Day) cause work goes on with apidexin reviews coming in and such.

The best thing happened this morning when we went to Malaysia Immigration. My one month tourist visa will expire in a week time and we thought of asking about how to extend, only to find out that my six months social pass is approved already! Yay! *jump in joy* Total costs us RM620. After that, extension will be RM105 only and I’ll be able to apply for one year pass.
Anyway, the application was submitted on end of March which is about two months plus already. There was no news from the immigration and earlier they said the fastest is three months. *horror* So we never expected that it will be approved that fast.
Now that we got it, this whole marriage-with-foreigner and visa-application aren’t that scary and complicated like what we thought earlier. The biggest hassle came from the different religion part. And, it doesn’t cost that much too, I mean here in Malaysia they have a fix reasonable price. Unlike Indonesia, no fix price, under-table money even for a piece of paper from lurah (village chief?), lousy working system and such.
Fresh and recharged! Ready to kick a*s and work triple harder than before.
Our honeymoon trip in Bali was more to sightseeing as in visiting the Balinese temple, such as Tanah Lot (see picture below). We did visit Dreamland and Kuta beach but stay away from adventure sport like atv riding and water sport activity – snorkeling, diving, rafting, flying fish, you name it. Just our personal preference. No regret as the water activity is widely available in Thailand and other countries.
Well, it’s a honeymoon trip so we were taking it easy and relax.

Full post of our complete 5 days 6 nights trip will come soon. My focus now is to catch what I’ve left behind in work. Away from office for 10 days is crazy!
Oh yes, we are going for honeymoon trip after married for almost 5 months.
Can celebrate our 5 months wedding-anniversary there.
The flight ticket was bought when Airasia has a BIG SALE on August last year, 2009. Return tickets from Sibu – KL – Bali for 2 persons = RM357 only! Super cheap. It’s the effort of checking the price one by one from early March to June 2010.
I booked the accommodation online last month, with 2 nights at the happening Kuta and 3 nights at the relaxing Ubud. Since we dislike the idea of being tied up to tour schedule, we plan to rent small car with driver. More flexible and hey, it will be just the two of us plus a spotlight (read: driver).
We haven’t start the packing yet, but at least important things like prepaid visa and Rupiah are prepared already.
I am oh so excited cause: 1, I’ve never been there before and everyone says Bali is so awesome; 2, It’s our first vacation with just the two of us; 3, It will be laptop-and-work-free trip
So, I’ll be away from tomorrow 4th May and be back on 13th May. Gonna spend one night near LCCT, fly to Bali on 5th, fly back KL on 10th, spend few days there and back to Sibu on 13th.
