I was browsing into one of my blog’s categories, take a peek and came across this entry One year: ago, now, later on May 2008, where I wrote about the summary of my life and comparing them from 2007 to 2009.

Here is what I wished to achieve for year 2009 (I wrote this on 2008) :

1 year later (read: 2009)

- I will be in Singapore with the boyfriend. Had a minimalist princess room with Ikea furniture. I?ll separate half for the prince room.

- I will be working at a medium size advertising agency or design studio in Singapore. Maintaining blogs at the same time and probably checking on EcoQuest International profile online.

- Good bye LDR.

- I will have a Sony Ericsson phone with mp3, camera, and most importantly able to online. No more flip phone is fine.

- I will own a 19? iMac. Save place than owning a 19? desktop.

- Still black hair with a shoulder length. Or maybe a curly one.

The fact is:

- I still stay with my family in my hometown, Medan, and fly to KL once in two months or so. The dream of working in Singapore, as a way to end LDR, has vanished.

- I stepped into web design world, work as a freelancer at home, and never look back. As the result, I developed dark eye circles due to long hour work sometimes, but income is pretty sweet and I have my time in my hands.

- Still in LDR. Good news, we will tie the knot end of this year. Can’t wait to say goodbye to LDR!

- My love towards pink stuffs continues. I am a proud owner of pink LG Ice Cream KF350. The best mobile phone I ever bought. Too bad it doesn’t have wifi thing.

- Still using Dell desktop. No longer have interest in the fragile Mac.

- Still black hair. But it’s curly instead of straight hair. No more bob style as I’ve started to grow it.

What-I-achieve-now is totally different from what-I-wanted-to-achieve-back-then. Well, no regret so far. I’m glad to be who I am today and have what I have today.

News from friend

I just received news that a friend of mine (from high school) has just given birth. Now, she is officially a newly Mum with a cutie baby. I would like to pay her a visit but she lives outstation. However I plan to buy a baby bedding for her as a gift. One of my friend is going to Jakarta within this few weeks, so I will ask her to bring it there.

I can’t believe that she is a Mum now. I feel like it was yesterday only when we graduated from high school.

I’m late in getting the news. But heck, I am so happy can?

The wish came true. The people voice was being heard. The government’s mind was opened. Problem solved~!

Indonesia ISP no longer blocked the 6 sites but the particular site only. One sites that is still being blocked (probably for forever) is fitnathemovie[dot]com. Whatever. Don’t care with this one.

And the particular sie that was blocked:

Can download vector packs from rapidshare again. Can check laptop computers info on multiply. Can see make-up tutorial through Youtube again.

Besides that, this morning I online and saw lots of work to do, which means ka-ching ka-ching, not ka-cheng (ass) anymore.

How to unlock Youtube

I have read somewhere that even though Indonesia ISP has blocked Youtube, there is still ways (not only one) to access it if someone really want to.

Again, through blog hopping, I found the how to through rudysusanto[dot]com. So coincidence, the domain name is the same name with one of my friend’s name.

Anyway, the how to, is by translating the site (in this case, youtube) by using google translate.

And there you go, free like a bird to access any videos including Condo Hotels in your next holiday ydestination.

But.. it becomes like peeking. Sigh.

Somebody, please, just delete the Fitna videos from the online world.

So we can have the access to the 6 sites again. Ignore the fitna movie site.

New playground to hang out

Nowadays I’m getting bore with friendster and facebook. Login, see new photos from friends, delete the applications’ invitation and log out. Sien.

I have a new place to ‘hang out’. No, not another friends network but sitemeter.

It is fun and interesting to see the traffic graph movement. Especially when there is sudden ‘erection’ (pardon me).

Much more interesting to see what did people search (from ‘pamily sex’ to ‘alcohol rehab‘) until they arrived to my blog and the search engine that they used.

And I can’t help but to analyze the visitors’ behavior. A truly melancholy I am.
